THERE'S no doubt Brendan Rodgers will be eyeing up a treble but at the same time will have one eye on next week's Champions League tie with Man City.
He must have been delighted to be handed a home Betfred Cup clash with League One Alloa and while everyone thought he'd rotate his line-up only Scott Sinclair and keeper Dorus de Vries have been rested.
Celtic are too short too back at 1-10 with William Hill while Alloa are 40-1 at Winner with the draw 12-1 at Ladbrokes and McBookie.
Before seeing teams I said if you believe Alloa won't get routed consider the Wasps plus three goals at 13-10 with McBookie. I wouldn't bet on that now.
I also said first-scorer bets should only be considered once team news is confirmed so with Moussa Dembele starting take him at 3-1 with Coral.
Alloa have knocked out holders Ross County and Inverness and win 10 of 11 games this season so they won't lack confidence.
Rodgers's men are struggling to keep clean sheets so what about both to score at 13-10 or what about Alloa to net at 7-5 with William Hill. Celtic/Celtic HT/FT is just 3-10 at Betfred and the Bhoys to win both halves is 3-5.
Under Rodgers Celtic have been starting quickly so with that team announced consider them to be leading after 15 minutes at 9-5 with Coral and William Hill and after 30 at 4-6 with both firms.
