IT'S a reduced card this week with the Scottish Cup taking centre stage, but there's still plenty of action to be found in the lower leagues.
And QUEEN OF THE SOUTH look a solid shout to pile on the misery to Clyde in League One.
It's been a car crash of a season for the Bully Wee and they face a straight fight with Peterhead to avoid the bottom spot after a paltry three league wins out of 27 all season.
They welcome Marvin Bartley's side who chalked up an impressive home win last week over Airdrie after a defeat at champions elect Dunfermline.
The Dumfries side look to have too much for Jim Duffy's men, who have won one league game since August…and that was against Peterhead.
And they can win against at New Douglas Park at 5/6.
ANNAN ATHLETIC should be too strong for an Elgin City side who are going through a torrid time, at their Galabank home in League Two.
Peter Murphy's side are heading in the right direction and should once again make the play-offs.
They went down last week to a Stenhousemuir side who have improved greatly but that can be excused after a tough batch of fixtures which included leaders Dumbarton and Stirling Albion,
where they could have arguably won both games.
Elgin are a strange side – they went to leaders Dumbarton and won against the odds the other week, but lost at home last week to bottom side Bonnyrigg Rose.
And they have only won one of their last eight league games and could easily find themselves sucked into a relegation battle.
Annan are usually strong at home and can send Elgin home on their long journey pointless at 17/20.
STENHOUSEMUIR have improved a lot under Gary Naysmith and they can get the better of East Fife at 23/20 in League Two.
Naysmith has only tasted league defeat once since he took charge this year and that was at leaders Dumbarton.
They've won three out of their last four games and scored three goals at Annan last week and not many teams do that. The signing of Gavin Reilly at this level should be a good one and with Tam
Orr and Matt Yates in the team, they have plenty of firepower.
East Fife lost at Stranraer on their last away game and they may return to Methil with nothing either from a trip to Ochilview,
RECOMMENDATIONS
QUEEN OF THE SOUTH 5/6
ANNAN ATHLETIC 17/20
STENHOUSEMUIR 23/20
