THE Betfred Cup group stages reach their conclusion this weekend and plenty of top spots are up for grabs – with the eight runners-up playing off for four last-16 spots.
In Group A Alloa need a point at home to Ross County to qualify and could get all three against a side hammered 4-1 by Arbroath in midweek. The Wasps are 29-20 at McBookie and 1-2 with bet365 not to lose.
St Johnstone want a point at Forfar to win Group B and that result would also clinch second spot for the Loons. Saints haven't conceded in three so should win but look a little short at 3-10 with McBookie.
Group C is all about Hearts v Inverness tomorrow with the Jambos needing to win after having two points deducted. ICT have an impressive 100 per cent record and I reckon they can bag a draw at 31-10 with Marathonbet.
Barring a miracle Dunfermline will top Group D ahead of Dundee. The Pars are a short price to beat Stirling at home and Dundee even shorter against a Brechin side that crashed 7-1 at home to Dunfermline in midweek.
Dundee -2 is possibly the best bet at 10-11 with Sky Bet while -1 is fine on accumulators at 1-3.
There is a decider in Group E as Partick Thistle entertain Ayr. The Jags are 8-15 at McBookie but Ayr have netted 10 and I'm on both to score at 4-5 with Sky Bet.
Livingston only need to beat Berwick at home to wrap up Group F and are 1-6 at McBookie.
Motherwell have been hit and miss but victory at Clyde will give them Group G ahead of QoS. They are again 1-6 with McBookie in the live game.
Killie can edge out St Mirren for top spot in Group H by beating Queen's Park and are 1-9 at McBookie so for the likes of Livi, Well and Killie you have to look at goals or handicaps bets.
The Buddies have drawn three in a row and are 24-5 for a fourth at home to Dumbarton.
I'll post a Betfred Cup Super Single and Top Treble on the top tips page.
