ONLY six points separate the top six in the Premiership and Hearts, Killie and St Johnstone continue to surprise.

Killie were jolted from top spot by Celtic last week while Hearts' progress has been hit by injuries.

So team of the moment is St Johnstone whose remarkable run helped land Tommy Wright the November Manager of the Month award.

Saints have won six and drawn two since losing 6-0 at home to Celtic and the only goals they've conceded are to Hearts in a 2-2 draw.

Their form is scintillating yet today bookies such as Ladbrokes make them 23-20 and they look one of the bets of the day.

Wright's side have won at Aberdeen and Hibs during that run while Motherwell have just one in six but did hold Celtic to a 1-1 draw.

Saints have kept seven clean sheets in eight so could win to nil at 40-17 with 188BET.

There are only two other Premiership games today – Killie v Dundee and St Mirren v Aberdeen.

A couple of weeks ago Killie would have been a banker bet but Dundee have eased clear of the foot with three wins and a draw in four.

Last week's point against Rangers came with 10 men and Kenny Miller has started scoring again.

Killie will see their thrashing by Celtic as a blip and while they should win there looks little value in a best price of 4-7 with Ladbrokes.

I'd prefer to take both to score at 23-20 with 888sport with Dundee having netted eight in four.

St Mirren have also picked up a bit but I'm taking Aberdeen to win against a side missing Danny Mullen and Kyle Magennis. The Dons are 8-11 at William Hill.

Tomorrow the Old Firm are in action after contrasting Europa League fortunes.

Both lost to Austrian sides but Celtic reached the last 32 thanks to Rosenborg holding Leipzig.

Rangers can now concentrate on picking up league points and are no bigger than 1-5 at Ladbrokes at home to Hamilton.

I could be slightly low key but I'm on Gers to win to nil at 20-23 with McBookie and Glenn Middleston to score first at 9-1 with bet365.

Not sure what Celtic side will turn up and they are weakened by the absence of crocked Ryan Christie and a bit short up front in the continued absence of Leigh Griffiths.

Hibs have given Brendan Rodgers some tough games but last week's defeat of Hamilton was their first win in seven and on current form Celtic should win.

They're a little short at 1-2 with Ladbrokes and could be short on energy after being given the runaround on Thursday. Best bet could be Celtic and under 2.5 goals at 11-4 with Ladbrokes.

In the Championship the top two meet at Somerset as Ayr welcome Ross County. Just one point separates the sides but Ayr have a game in hand and had the benefit of a free week after last week's clash against Inverness was postponed.

Bookies can't split the sides but Ayr look overpriced at 17-10 with bet365 and take a chance on Lawrence Shankland to score first at 3-1 with McBookie.

Queen of the South look big at 12-5 with McBookie at home to Dunfermline even without injured top scorer Stephen Dobbie.

In League One back top two Arbroath at Airdrie and Raith at home to Dumbarton – the double pays evens at Marathonbet.

Add top two in League Two, Edinburgh and Peterhead, to make it a 6-1 fourfold at Marathonbet.
