IT'S Celtic's turn to lead the way and they should be on top of the tree for Christmas.

Brendan Rodgers's side bounced back from a horror defeat at Hibs to cruise to three points against Motherwell.

Now they've been handed a festive gift by the fixture compilers – a home game against Dundee.

Their mini revival ended at Kilmarnock last week and was followed by a crushing 5-1 loss at Aberdeen in midweek.

Eight goals conceded in two away games must be a concern for Jim McIntyre but they'll face a strikerless Celtic as Odsonne Edouard isn't being risked after being injured against Well ahead of big games against Aberdeen and Rangers.

Celtic are no bigger than 1-8 with bet365 so again finding value isn't easy and to win to nil could be the best bet at 7-10 at McBookie.

Dundee have given Celtic tough tests at Parkhead over the last two seasons – two one-goal defeats and two 0-0 draws – so Celtic and under 3.5 match goals at 23-20 with Betway.

Rangers face a tricky one at St Johnstone tomorrow – four days after being held 0-0 at Hibs.

Saints' good spell ended with a shock 2-1 home defeat to Motherwell and have lost three in a row at home to the Ibrox side.

However, I expect Tommy Wright's players to raise their game and like Wednesday I'm on Rangers to drop points so back Saints draw no bet at 31-10 at McBookie.

High-flying Kilmarnock could be best bets of the day at Hamilton where they have won five out of six. Killie are 9-11 at Unibet.

In the Championship the standout side has to be Ayr at 6-4 with Marathonbet at Dunfermline.

Ian McCall's men blew a 3-1 lead at home to nearest rivals Ross County last week but should bounce back against a Pars side who have won one in five and failed to score in three of those matches.

Ayr remain one point clear at the top while Dunfermline are stuck in mid-table mediocrity. Lawrence Shankland netted another double last season to make it seven in five and 28 for the season. He is 12-5 with bet365 to score first and just 4-6 to net at any time.

County claiming a point last week was impressive and they should see off a slightly improving Partick Thistle. They are 4-6 with bet365 so maybe shorter than I'd have wanted.

If it's goals you want they could come at Alloa where Queen of the South are the visitors. Six of the last eight have gone over 2,5 and another pays 21-20 at BetBright.

There's a top-of-the-table clash in League One as Arbroath welcome Raith. Arbroath are unbeaten and lead by 13 points so the title race is probably over and a home win will seal the deal. Back the Gayfield men at evens with McBookie although backing both to score could be the safer option.

In League Two I'm again on top two Edinburgh and Peterhead with the double paying 8-5 at McBookie. Edinburgh travel to Cowdenbeath while Peterhead entertain Stirling.
