IT'S not often Peterhead games take pride of place but bookies are still tempting us with goals tonight.
My weekend best bet was going to be over 2.5 match goals at 9-10 before their Scottish Cup tie at home to Dumbarton was called off.
But the good news is 9-10 is still available from Marathonbet for tonight's replay. Over 3.5 is 11-5 for anyone who fancies that.
Peterhead games have been goal-laden recently with 32 in five – 24 of them going the way of the Blue Toon.
Despite being in League Two Peterhead are 23-20 favourites with William Hill while the Sons are 12-5 at McBookie. I’m on the home but not at those odds. Instead take the goals bet and consider Rory McAllister to score first at 10-3 (McBookie).
There are two other replays tonight – Albion Rovers v St Johnstone and Livingston v Falkirk. Saints are no bigger than 1-3 at McBookie so consider them to win by at least two at 20-21 (bet365).
The other tie is tougher to call with Falkirk improving and Livi fading. Falkirk draw no bet has a chance at 6-4 with Marathonbet.
In the Premiership Celtic are a best 1-5 with William Hill for their visit to Partick Thistle where they have won 14 in a row.
It should be another routine win for Brendan Rodgers’s refreshed side and I’m backing Celtic -2 at 17-10 with betfair while to win to nil at 7-10 with McBookie also looks on.
Recommended Bets
- Peterhead v Dumbarton over 2.5 goals

10/11 for second half goals, could only wish for 10/1 hehe
Fs Danny ma heart skipped a beat there mate! Lol
mr f, I’m really fancying Peterhead o1.5tgs at 11/10
Peterhead you’d think will score 2+ and I’m confident about match goals.
But they probably shouldn’t be as short as 11-10 against a side two leagues above them.
@dannyboy was about to be all over that 10/1 price haha
Bookies don’t often get it wrong but I’m Assuming although there is a two league difference, both clubs are part time, it’s at Peterhead and Peterhead are flying. Don’t disagree that Peterheadlook a bit skinny Mr F but can understand why the bookies have priced them up so short
Desmond’s a Dumbarton fan – I knew there was one – and he points out Dumbarton are of course part-time a lot of players will be working today then face a long trip north. Same for Peterhead but no travelling.
