AFTER a profitable midweek, we have an actioned backed weekend card to look forward to and I'm pleased to see the return of French Ligue 2 after last weeks break due to the cup games.
For the 3rd time in 6 rounds, over 0.5 first half goals in France landed in all 8 matches to pay 36/1. It's not a bet that is going to land every week or even every month but its been terrific recently and if we can get one more in before the end of the season I'd be delighted.
There's also a match from the Scottish Championship as struggling Dunfermline host fellow strugglers Dundee atr East End Park. Its a match where I think we'll see goals.
Dunfermline vs Dundee (KO 7.05pm)
What a truly miserable month it's been for Stevie Crawford's Dunfermline side – 5 consecutive defeats has seen them drop to 5th and worryingly for the Pars means they are only 4 points off the bottom spot.
Its an awful run of results and the manger will be beginning to feel the pressure, 13 goals conceded in those games and with the loss of some key loan players back to their parent clubs, its hard to see where the improvement is going to come from.
Dundee have had a bitterly disappointing season and sit just 4 points above Dunfermline. The Dee's were expected to fight it out with Dundee United for the title but instead sit an embarrassing 23 points behind their city rivals.
Lets be clear, Dundee have a decent enough team, they are massively under achieving with that squad which contains the likes of Dorrans, Kemmings, Johnson and McGowan.
The fans certainly aren't happy and are turning their back on the club with a pitiful 1,057 home fans turning out for their Scottish cup defeat to Motherwell last weekend.
Dundee's problem this season is they have been far too inconsistent – they've only won consecutive matches twice this season but they will be hopeful of getting three points on the board against a side low in confidence.
They sides two meetings so far this season ended in a 2-2 draw here back in August and a 4-3 win for Dundee in December. The Pars have just kept 2 clean sheets at home this season and after two poor results for James McPake's Dundee side, they need to get a win here.
Interesting that the bookies have Dundee as big as 2/1 against a side on a 5 match losing run and that gives us a bit of value I feel in the Goal time market. I fully expect Dundee to score against a weak and confidence shot Dunfermline. The Dee's are far from watertight tight at the back and with both needing points desperately, I'm taking this game to follow suit of the last two meetings and deliver goals.

Greg, are u going to give lonmel a skip today ?
On the french 1st half tip Greg
Would be interesting to see whether there were any games drawing at HT when this bet landed in the past
If not, a good option would be to do Double Chance on the HT markets for the Home/Away option
I’ve split my stake tonight on this between the usual method and the Double Chance
Double Chance is 88/1 w B365 so quite a big jump in the odds
Kevin nisbet to score anytime 6/5 👏🏻
