Udinese and Atalanta BC square off in Serie A on Saturday with the clubs separated by just one point in the table.
Despite losing out to Juventus in midweek, Udinese sit in 10th position, helped by a recent three-game unbeaten streak.
Meanwhile, while Atalanta extended their undefeated run in this season's Italian top flight to nine matches with a draw at home to AC Milan, they have now posted five stalemates in succession.
How the bookies view it: Value in sixth Atalanta draw
Given their status as one of the nation's biggest clubs, it is perhaps no surprise to see Atalanta priced at 4/5 by BOYLE Sports.
However, many punters may see value in the 5/2 for the draw courtesy of Atalanta's extended run of sharing the spoils.
Udinese, who have lost just one of their four home league games this campaign, are priced at 3/1 to prevail at the Bluenergy Stadium.
Head to head: Atalanta bidding to extend unbeaten run
In the last 42 matches between the two sides, the results have been evenly spread to a certain level.
Atalanta have 16 wins in comparison to Udinese's 11, with the other 15 games ending in draws.
That said, Atalanta have incredibly put together a 15-game unbeaten streak against Udinese, last suffering defeat in October 2017.
However, four of the last six games have finished in stalemates, including the 2024-25 fixture which was goalless.
Players to watch: Former Premier League players to impress?
Among the internationals that ply their trade at Udinese, it is former Aaton Villa forward Keinan Davis who has emerged as top goalscorer with three strikes. His most recent goal came in the 3-2 win over Lecce on October 25.
However, his early withdrawal against Juventus means that Adam Buksa may be one to watch instead.
Ademola Lookman is the obvious player to watch in the Atalanta starting lineup. However, his equaliser in the draw with AC Milan marked his first goal of the season, albeit having not featured before September 21.
Probable lineups:
With Davis having sustained a knock on Tuesday, Udinese's leading marksman will be assessed closer to kickoff.
Buksa is on standby if required, as is former Watford man Vakoun Bayo if Kosta Runjaic wishes to take a different approach.
Meanwhile, Atalanta midfielder Marten de Roon is a major doubt after limping off against AC Milan.
Marco Brescianini and Yunus Musah are both viewed as alternatives to the captain if he cannot take his spot in the engine room.
Udinese: Okoye; Goglichidze, Kabasele, Solet; Ehizibue, Piotrowski, Karlstrom, Atta, Kamara; Davis, Zaniolo
Atalanta BC: Carnesecchi; Kossounou, Hien, Ahanor; Zappacosta, Ederson, Brescianini, Bernasconi; Pasalic; De Ketelaere, Lookman
Anything else catch the eye?
Udinese have scored and conceded at least one goal in their last six matches in all competitions.
Furthermore, they are yet to keep a clean sheet in four home league fixtures, as well as a Coppa Italia tie versus Palermo.
Atalanta have scored in every away Serie A fixture and are one of only three teams not to lose away in top-flight matches during 2025-26.
