Switzerland have qualified for the last five World Cups and will be confident of kicking off their latest campaign with a win when Kosovo come calling in Group B.
This looks like being one of the toughest sections in European qualifying, with the Swiss also up against a star-studded Sweden side and a dangerous Slovenian squad.
Kosovo will do well to avoid finishing bottom of the four-team group but they could end up being kingmakers if they take points off the teams scrapping it out for top spot.
Switzerland will fancy their chances of grabbing the one automatic qualifying place up for grabs after reaching the last 16 at Qatar 2022 and reaching the quarter-finals at Euro 2024.
They have a settled squad and should have too much quality for a Kosovo side who have never qualified for a major tournament.
But the Kosovans performed well in the Nations League, winning home and away against Cyrpus and Lithuania, so they head into this clash with a bit of confidence.
How the bookies view it: A Swiss stroll
It's no great surprise to see Switzerland as heavy favourites for this one and BoyleSports price them at just 4/11. Kosovo are 8/1 outsiders and the draw pays 15/4.
Head to head: Quick on the draws
These nations have only faced off three times before and every match so far has ended level. They last crossed swords in Euro 2024 qualifying, with a 2-2 draw in Kosovo followed by a 1-1 Swiss stalemate.
Players to watch: Dan's the man
Dan Ndoye has made a decent start with new club Nottingham Forest and should be a goal threat for the Swiss in this game. The winger could be worth a punt for anytime scorer once that market is price up.
Real Mallorca's Vedat Muriqi should be Kosovo's main threat after netting 13 times for club and country last term. He scored against Real Madrid last week to open his account for this campaign and will have his tail up.
Probable line-ups
The Swiss have called up Breel Embolo, despite the forward failing to play a single minute for Monaco this term. He may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Veteran stopper Lumbardh Dellova has recovered from injury to take his place in the Kosovan squad but Besiktas midfielder Milot Rashica surprisingly hasn't been called up.
Switzerland: Kobel, Akanji, Rodriguez, Schmidt, Elvedi, Xhaka, Aebischer, Freuler, Reider, Ndoye, Vargas.
Kosovo: Saipi, Dellova, Rrahmani, Pacarada, Rexhbecaj, Berisha, Jashari, Zehgrova, Muslija, Krasniqi, Muriqi.
Anything else catch the eye?
Kosovo have proven a tough nut to crack for Swtizerland but it would be a surprise if the Swiss failed to chalk up their first victory against them here.
It's hard finding value with the Swiss such short odds but backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time pays evens at BoyleSports.
BTTS has come up in all three previous meetings so there could be some value in backing it here. BoyleSports price that bet at just 3/4 but adding on over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 23/20.
In all of the past meetings, most goals have come after the break so try backing the second period as the highest-scoring half at 10/11.
