Shakhtar Donetsk head into the second leg of their Europa League second qualifying round tie with Besiktas holding a sizeable advantage.
Having opened up a 2-0 lead by the 28-minute mark, the Ukrainian giants eventually ran out 4-2 victors at the home of the Turkish side.
Recently-appointed head coach Arda Turan will now be looking to complete the job at Stadion Wisly Krakow as they bid to move closer to a place in the League Phase of the competition.
How do the bookies see it: More of the same from Shakhtar?
Shakhtar have been priced at 20/21 by Boylesports as they anticipate a repeat performance from a team who have shown on more than one occasion that they have a ruthless streak under Turan.
Besiktas remain an attractive price at 15/8, but chasing the game is going to leave them vulnerable at the back. The draw can be had at 11/4.
Head to head: Just the second competitive fixture
Last week's first leg represented the first time that these two teams had ever met in a competitive encounter in a European competition.
Prior to that, five friendlies had been held, Shakhtar also prevailing from the most recent such game by a 1-0 scoreline in 2024.
Players to watch: Shakhtar's Brazilian duo to star?
While there was nothing spectacular about Kevin's six goals and four assists in the Ukrainian top flight last season, the Brazilian winger has hit the ground running this campaign.
In two appearances and 180 minutes of football, he has contributed three strikes and two assists, two of his goals coming during the closing quarter of the first leg.
Eguinaldo also took his opportunity down the centre of the attacker with a goal and assist of his own.
From the perspective of Besiktas, their star players can only have benefitted from getting some competitive minutes under their belt.
Tammy Abraham scored from the penalty spot in the first leg, although the Englishman was later substituted with a possible injury.
Predicted lineups: Potential double injury blow for Besiktas?
Barring any fitness issues, Turan could opt to select the same Shakhtar XI that did the business in Turkey.
Pedrinho, Newerton and Lassina Traore are all alternatives in attack, but there appears little reason to tinker with a winning team.
As well as Abraham, Orkun Kokcu came away from the first leg as an injury concern for Besiktas.
Amir Hadziahmetovic and Semih Kilicsoy appear most likely to come into the team if required, while Joao Mario is pushing for a start after his late goal as a substitute.
Shakhtar Donetsk: Riznyk; Konoplya, Bondar, Matviyenko, Pedrinho; Gomes; Santana, Ocheretko, Sudakov, Kevin; Eguinaldo
Besiktas: Gunok; Svensson, Gabriel, Uduokhai, Jurasek; Tiknaz, Kokcu; Rashica, Silva, Fernandes; Abraham
Anything else catch the eye?
Including pre-season friendlies, Shakhtar have scored 15 goals in their last four fixtures, even when including a goalless draw at Ilves in the second leg of the first qualifying round with a weakened side.
Despite playing away from their home ground, Shakhtar still scored as many as 41 times from 15 games in designated home league fixtures during 2024-25.
However, they also conceded 15 times, providing them with just the seventh-best home defensive record.
In their last four games, also including pre-season matches, Besiktas have conceded 10 goals and not won a single fixture.
Shakhtar have never suffered defeat to Turkish opposition in a European competition, winning an incredible nine times in 10 games.
