Real Madrid are starting a new era under Xabi Alonso and he'll be desperate to get their UEFA Champions League campaign off to a winning start when Marseille come calling.
Carlo Ancelotti's final season as boss turned into a nightmare as Real surrendered their crown as kings of Europe and were second best to Barcelona in Spain.
Alonso's first assignment was the Club World Cup and a 4-0 semi-final defeat to new European champions PSG showed how much work he has to do at the Bernabeu.
But they've won four in a row to kick off the La Liga campaign, including an impressive 2-1 victory with 10 men at Real Sociedad, which saw all three recommended bets land for our man Gabriel.
Alonso's side now face a Marseille team who are also living in PSG's shadow, having finished 19 points behind them in Ligue 1 last term.
Marseille haven't reached the knockout stages in the Champions League since season 2011/12 so they will be looking to make a much better fist of it this time around under Roberto De Zerbi.
How the bookies view it: Marseille written off
Marseille have lost both their away fixtures in Ligue 1 this season so it's no surprise to see them as BoyleSports' 15/2 outsiders. Real Madrid are 1/3 hot favourites and the draw pays 4/1.
Head to head: Real to the four
These European giants have surprisingly faced off just four times before and Real Madrid have won every game. They last faced off in the Champions League back in 2009, with the Spanish side winning 3-1 at home then 3-0 in France.
Players to watch: Mbappe in for the Kyl
Plenty of pundits argued that Kylian Mbappe unbalanced the Real Madrid side last term but you can't deny the Frenchman had a hugely successful debut campaign in terms of numbers.
He netted 44 times in all competitions and already has six in six games this term for club and country. He's just 1/2 at Bet365 for anytime scorer but backing him to score two or more pays 12/5 with Betfred, who are offering £50 in free bets with our great promo.
Mason Greenwood has scored twice in four games for Marseille this term and his pace could trouble Alonso's defence. He's 8/5 at Bet365 to either score or assist.
Probable line-ups
Real Madrid look set to be without Jude Bellingham, Antonio Rudiger, Endrick, Eduardo Camavinga and Ferland Mendy.
Marseille are sweating on the fitness of Amine Gouiri while Ruben Blanco is still sidelined.
Real Madrid: Courtois, Carvajal, Alaba, Militao, Huijsen, Valverde, Tchouameni, Guler, Vinicius, Mbappe, Diaz.
Marseille: Rulli, Aguerd,. Balerdi, Murillo, Gomes, Greenwood, Traore, Paixao, Hojbjerg, Nadir, Aubameyang.
Anything else catch the eye?
It's hard to predict if we'll see goals at both ends in this one. Real Madrid have conceded in their last two games but Marseille have fired blanks on both their away days so far this season.
De Zerbi isn't the kind of manager to park the bus though so I'm expecting this to be a decent watch and over 1.5 first-half goals looks good at 11/10 with BoyleSports.
Real Madrid's home games in the Champions League were great value for corners last term, with only one of them seeing under 12. So try going for over 10.5 corners in this one at a tempting 13/10 with BoyleSports.
With so much attacking talent at Alonso's disposal, I fancy Real Madrid to score in both halves and that pays 20/23 with BoyleSports.
