PSV Eindhoven vs Napoli

, KO: 20:00 , Philips Stadion
Napoli

PSV Eindhoven have bounced back after a horror start to their UEFA Champions League campaign and will be hoping home advantage can help them claim the scalp of Napoli.

The Dutch giants were shocked on matchday one as they were beaten 3-1 at home by Union Saint-Gilloise, with a corners bet salvaging something for Slips Tips.

But PSV showed some character by claiming a 1-1 draw away to Bayer Leverkusen in their next European outing and that will give them some confidence ahead of this clash with the Italian champions.

Napoli also lost their opener away to Manchester City but they were up against it after Giovanni Di Lorezno was sent off just 21 minutes into the game.

Anotnio Conte's side beat Sporting CP 2-1 on matchday two, bringing up two bets for our man Greg, and if they can claim another victory in the Netherlands it will be lift off for their European campaign.

Napoli suffered a disappointing 1-0 defeat at Torino on Serie A duty at the weekend so they will be looking to bounce back in the Netherlands.

How the bookies view it: Napoli look tasty at 6/5

Napoli are favourites for this one with BoyleSports but their price of 6/5 still looks decent value. PSV Eindhoven are 21/10 outsiders and the draw pays 5/2.

Head to head: PSV eye a repeat of 2012

These sides have faced off just twice before and PSV won both legs of that Europa League clash in 2012. The Dutch side eased to a 3-0 win at home then backed it up with a 3-1 victory in Naples.

Players to watch: Rasmus reborn

Rasmus Hojlund has scored seven times for club and country since joining Napoli on loan and is a tempting 21/10 at Unibet for another goal. He missed the weekend game with Torino but it was only a minor issue so he should be fit for this one.

Ismael Saibari has scored in four/five or his last four/five games for PSV and is a decent medium-odds option for a goal. The Moroccan midfielder is 18/5 at Betfred to keep his hot streak going.

Probable line-ups

PSV still have plenty of players sidelined, with Ricardo Pepi, Eus Waayers, Ruben Van Bommel, Myron Boadu, Kiliann Sildilla and Alassane Plea likely to miss out again.

Napoli squad's is a bit healthier but Romelu Lukaku, Stanislav Lobotka, Amir Rrahmani and Nikita Contini remain on the sidelines. Di Lorenzo is back after his European ban while Scott McTominay is a doubt after also missing out at the weekend with an ankle knock.

PSV Eindhoven: Kovar, Salah-Eddine, Gasiorowski, Obispo, Mauro Junior, Til, Schouten, Veerman, Saibari Perisic, Man.

Napoli: Milinkovic-Savic, Gutierrez, Di Lorenzo, Beukema, Spinazzola, McTominay, De Bruyne, Gilmour, Anguissa, Hojlund, Politano.

Anything else catch the eye?

PSV have been providing plenty of entertainment this season, with BTTS landing in five/six of their last seven games. Both teams have also scored in four of Napoli's last five matches so this should be an entertaining game.

BTTS is just 1/2 at BoyleSports but adding on over 2.5 goals takes you to 20/23 and that's decent value.

We saw 14 corners when PSV hosted Union Saint-Gilloise while Napoli racked up seven flag kicks in their win over Sporting. That suggests backing over 9.5 corners could pay off here at a decent 17/20 with BetVictor.
