Partick Thistle will be looking to summon the spirit of 1971 as they bid to shock Celtic and reach the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
The Jags memorably hammered Jock Stein's vintage Hoops side 4-1 at Hampden to lift this trophy 54 years ago.
They haven't got their hands on a major piece of silverware since then but if the Championship side can stun Celtic again it would book a place in the last four.
The holders haven't looked in great shape this season but they've still won five of their six games in an unbeaten domestic start.
A stoppage-time penalty from new boy Kelechi Iheanacho sealed a 2-1 win at Kilmarnock last time out after fans had staged a protest against the under-fire board.
That off-field discontent and Celtic's failure to qualify for Champions League has cast a dark cloud over Parkhead but it would still be a major surprise if they slipped up in this cup tie.
How the bookies view: Jags written off
BoyleSports can't see Partick Thistle springing a surprise as they're 14/1 for a win in 90 minutes. Celtic are tiny at 1/8 and the draw pays 13/2.
Recent head to head: Celtic cruising it
Partick Thistle have only beaten Celtic three times since that epic Hampden triumph in 1971. The Hoops have won the last eight meetings, including two cup ties in season 2019/2020 when these clubs last faced off.
Players to watch: Seb set to shine
New signing Sebastian Tounekti impressed on his Celtic debut last weekend and looked a real threat on the left flank. He should get another start in this cup tie and is 6/4 at BoyleSports to open his account.
Tony Watt scored one of the most famous goals in Celtic history when he netted in their Champions League win over Barcelona in 2012. The striker is now at Thistle and will be out to haunt his old club with a goal, which pays 11/2 at BoyleSports.
Probable line-ups
Brendan Rodgers could rest some of his star players with Celtic kicking off their Europa League campaign away to Red Star Belgrade in midweek.
Partick Thistle should be along similar lines to the team that beat Airdrie 2-1 in their last outing.
Partick Thistle: Clarke, Reading, Ashcroft, O'Reilly, McPherson, Chalmers, Crawford, Fitzpatrick, Stanway, Letsosa, Watt.
Celtic: Sinisalo, Donovan, Murray, Scales, Sarrachi, McGregor, Bernardo, Engels, Tounekti, Balakwisha, Iheanacho.
Anything else catch the eye?
While Celtic haven't been clicking in attack, they've kept the back door shut, conceding just two goals in eight games. That makes a Hoops win to nil likely for this cup tie, although the odds aren't great at just 8/11.
Rodgers' side should have too much quality for Championship opposition and backing them to win both halves looks decent at 21/20 with BoyleSports.
Mark Wilson will probably set his Jags side up to frustrate and that could see the Celtic corner count hit a high number but I've yet to see any corner markets.
There are card prices available though and betting against players from both teams going into the book pays a decent 7/4 at Bet365. That has landed in four of Celtic's games this season.
Jags stopper Dan Ashcroft has picked up two yellows so far this season and could be worth a punt for another card at 15/4 with Bet365.
