Netherlands vs Finland

, KO: 17:00 , Johan Cruyff Arena
Finland

The Netherlands have found World Cup qualifying pretty stress-free so far and they can take another step towards next summer's finals if they beat Finland in Amsterdam.

The only blemish so far for the Dutch has been a 1-1 draw at home to Poland but they're still in command of Group G after the Poles lost in Helsinki.

Ronald Koeman's side won 2-0 on their trip to Finland and if they can do the double in this game it will leave them in a strong position to finish top of the pile.

They warmed up for this game by beating Malta 4-0 on the road, with Tijjani Reijnders bringing up a scorer bet for me.

Finland represent a step up in class and they'll be desperate for a result as they bid to keep their own World Cup hopes alive.

Thursday's 2-1 win over Lithuania has kept them in the hunt and if they can pull off a shock win in Amsterdam it would throw the section wide open.

How the bookies view it: Dutch are home free

After winning in Helsinki, it's no surprise to see the Dutch as 1/10 favourites with BoyleSports on home soil. Finland are 33/1 outsiders and the draw pays 9/1.

Head to head: Five in a woe for Finns

That 2-0 win in Helsinki earlier in the group made it five successive victories for the Netherlands in this fixture.

The Finns have a terrible record against the Dutch, winning just one of their 16 meetings and losing 12.

Players to watch: Memphis back on song?

Memphis Depay didn't start against Malta after reporting late for duty due to a stolen passport. But he scored off the bench and is just 4/7 at BoyleSports for anytime scorer in this one. Backing him to score two or more boosts the odds to 5/2.

Benjamin Kallman has been in decent form for the Finns in this campaign, netting in both their games against Poland then once more against Lithuania. The Hannover striker is 7/1 to add to his tally in this one and that looks a bit overpriced.

Probable line-ups

It will be interesting to see if Koeman throws Depay back in from the start after benching him on Thursday night in Malta.

Finland should be along similar lines to the team that started against Lithuania but may set up a little more defensively.

Netherlands: Verbruggen, Dumfries, Van Hecke, Van Dijk, Van de Ven, Gravenberch, De Jong, Reijnders, Simons, Depay, Gakpo.

Finland: Joronen, Alho, Tenho, Ivanov, Uronen, Lod, Karinen, Suhonen, Kallman, Pohjanpalo, Keskinen.

Anything else catch the eye?

Finland fired a blank at home to the Netherlands but they've scored in every other group game, so backing BTTS might pay off in this one at 6/4. Combining it with a win for the Dutch boosts the odds to 9/4.

Denzel Dumfries is usually decent value for an assist and has set up three goals so far for the Netherlands in this campaign. The Inter Milan star is 12/5 at Bet365 for an assist against the Finns.

Koeman's side have won at least six corners in every group game so far. That's another market worth looking at and over 7.5 Dutch corners pays 23/20 at BoyleSports. Over 4.5 first-half corners looks a better option at evens.
