MANCHESTER UNITED may still be viewed as 20/1 outsiders to win the Premier League, but they are still very much in the hunt. And their title credentials will get a firm test from in-form Leicester City on Sunday.
Erik ten Haag's side have now played double-headers with Leeds United and Crystal Palace as well as a game against Arsenal in their last five league matches since beating Manchester City last month.
But dropping pints to both Leeds and Palace as well as that last gasp loss at the Emirates has probably cost them a real shot at the title.
However, they seem to be improving almost by the week and face Brendan Rodgers' side after their midweek Europa League efforts in Spain. An entertaining 2-2 draw in the Nou Camp against Barcelona has given them a big platform to progress.
The Foxes are a side on the up. With injuries clearing and confidence growing, Leicester have won their last two matches in the league and scored four times on both occasions against Aston Villa and Spurs. Their 4-1 thumping of Tottenham was probably their best display of the season.
How the bookies view it
Manchester United are warm favourites here at 5/8 with SBK.
Leicester City can be backed at 9/2 with Coral and the draw is 10/3 with bet365
Recent head to heads
United went to the King Piwer Stadium and won 1-0 in September. However, Leicester have drawn and won on their last two visits to Od Trafford in the past two seasons.
Players to watch
Marcus Rashford is symbolic of United's improvement this term and he's matured into an absolute key man for United with his goals and consistency. His goal in the Nou Camp was the forth game in a row he had scored and his 25th of the season for club and country He is 27/20 to score wiith UniBet.
Leicester's return to form has coincided with James Maddison being back fit and the classy midfielder makes his team tick. He scored against Spurs last week and is 9/2 to net with SBK on Sunday.
Anything else catch the eye?
Although United were involved in an exhausting game in Spain, they have a big enough squad to continue their upwards trajectory,
This should be an entertaining clash and United should have enough in their locker to edge out Leicester, but the Foxes should be able to contribute. Take both teams to score and a United win at 21/10 at 10bet.
On a similar path, presuming we get the goals we expect, a United win and over 2.5 goals is nicely priced up at 5/4 with bet365 and that looks a solid shout too.
