CELTIC wiped the floor with Hearts last week in the Scottish Cup and will be expected to add more misery to their city rivals Hibs this week at Parkhead.
Ange Postecoglou's mantra is ‘we never stop' and that's certainly been the case this season with virtually no signs at all of their form dipping as they have powered to a win in 26 of their 28 league games, including a 100 per cent record at Parkhead.
Since drawing at Ibrox on January 2, Celtic have won all 13 of their games and have scored at least two in every one of them.
Hibs have actually improved since the turn of the year and Lee Johnson's job seems to be far more secure now. They are just five point behind Hearts in third place.
However, Hibs and Johnson have got a major problem about his approach to playing against the Old Firm. They have been crushed 6-1 and 4-0 by Celtic and were fortunate to only lose 4-1 at home to Rangers the other week.
Johnson and Hibs face a daunting task here.
How the bookies view it
Celtic are always unbackable at home except on accas and they are 2/11 here with bet365.
Hibs can be backed at 33/2 with SBK and the draw is 13/2 with Coral.
Recent head to heads
Hibs have failed to defeat Celtic in the last 15 meetings between the sides – since 2018. Their last win at Parkhead was 13 years ago.
Players to watch
Japanese ace Kyogo Furuhashi has scored 26 goals this season, but it still wasn't good enough to get him into his country's squad. He is 8/13 with BetVictor to take his frustrations out on Hibs.
Elie Youan has been in decent form for Hibs recently with five goals in his last six games. He is 13/2 to score with William Hill.
Anything else catch the eye?
The chasm between the Okd Firm and the rest this season is such that even the so-called bigger clubs like Hearts and Hibs can't lay a glove on them and that's particularly the case with Ange Postecoglou's swashbuckling side.
It's hard to see Hibs escape with anything other than another doing here and Celtic can cover a -2 handicap with Paddy Power at 7/5.
It doesn't seem to matter if you park the bus or have a go, Celtic always seem to find a way to pick teams off with ease. Their defence has been solid recently too and Celtic to win to nil at 21/20 with McBookie.com looks the call.
Celtic will want to sign off for the international break in style and McBookie.com's 19/10 on the Hoops to score four or more goals looks a nice price too.
