IT was a disappointing day for me and there's no other way to dress it up.
I quite liked the card but it was my first Saturday of the season with a few letdowns.
Raith beat the Super Single after leading, Leicester were on the Top Treble and Derby were the biggest sinners on the moneyback fivefold.
There were plenty of winners – and losers – on the site. Greg napped St Johnstone and while they were my main Scottish tip I wish I'd taken them to win to nil as I suggested on the Super Single shortlist.
HullShaker was spot on with his Chesterfield v Billericay tip as poor old scampi subjected himself to another 1-1 draw.
Anyway we move on to Sunday and it can only be better. It's a bit of a Super Sunday strating with Liverpool v Fulham and later Man City v Man Utd.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also in Premier League action and Celtic and Rangers in the Scottish Premiership. There are also nine FA Cup first-round ties including Port Vale v Sunderland. Plenty of people will do the Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal treble at 17-10 with Betway.
On the Continent big games include Milan v Juventus, Celta Vigo v Real Madrid and Monaco v PSG.
My moneyback fivefold features three sides I'm extremely confident about – Celtic and PSG – as well as Sunderland who are just under evens and that's a steal as long as Jack Ross plays a strong side after six wins in a row.
Add Doncaster at Chorley and Solihull at Hitchin and hopefully they won't be the victim of any more cup shocks.
Celtic and PSG should be winning by more than one and both -1 is the Super Single double.
My only other bet is a Top Treble starting with Arsenal who are unbeaten in 13 and face a Wolves side who lost their last three. The Gunners are a decent price at 4-6.
Add both to score in the Manchester derby. City are the better side but Jose Mourinho is capable of putting a spanner in their works so I'm on goals. Three of the last six meetings at the Etihad have gone over 4.5 goals and three have gone under 2.5 so it could either way I suppose.
Complete the treble with Eintracht Frankfurt not to lose at home to Schalke. Eintracht are going well and are unbeaten in seven at home to their rivals. They should win but I'm keeping the draw on side.

Both teams have been in decent form, with Craig Goodwin playing particularly well for the Reds. The Reds have just come off a FFA Cup final win over Sydney FC, and they love playing behind their very much partisan crowd at Hindmarsh Stadium. They are still missing Blackwood through injury, but Goodwin has been fantastic in attack of late.
Perth Glory have also been strong this season, but have lost defender Mrcela through suspension. They are still missing Santalab, Casto, Spiranovic and Italiano through injury.
For me this one looks like a home win, but with goals a feature.
Melbourne Victory v Central Coast Mariners:
Final game of the week, sees Victory face up against the Mariners. Victory have played well so far, this season, a fact hidden by the fact that they lost their opening two games. They are missing attacking pair Athiu and Toivonen through injury though, but they do have a very attacking midfield as well, who tend to score more than hapless Athiu anyway (and Toivonen hasn’t featured yet).
Mariners were playing okay for the start of the league, but feel to a 3-0 defeat to Adelaide last round. Their defense is utterly terrible, but they have do have goals in their side, with Ross McCormack looking a real threat.

Anybody betting Celtic today should be aware Rogers will make changes today with the surface in mind, it’s the worst artificial surface by a distance and I don’t see Rogic or Lustig starting as their knees don’t like artificial surfaces. So they should join Brown, Ntcham, Kouassi, Arzani & Griffiths on the sidelines so maybe see Lewis Morgan join Forrest & Sinclair as the 3 behind French Eddy. One man that should start and is worth a punt for a goal is Callum McGregor, perhaps Celtics unsung hero in a side where the likes of Tierney, Edouard and Rogic get the plaudits more often but for me he’s a better player than the now departed Armstrong who went too Southampton for £7m or so. He rarely loses position, endless amounts of energy, strong in the tackle but scores goals in the big games…. Whisper it but he’ll take Brown’s armband in the future if Tierney seeks pastures new.
