IT wasn't a great day for results and didn't see too many winners on the site.
My only success was the East Fife Super Single which gave me a 3.75pts profit while I lost 5pts on the accas so not much damage done.
Most of my Scottish tips were correct but the English choices let me down – sides such as Bournemouth, Wolves, Doncaster, Barnsley and Lincoln. All were well fancied and well backed and all flopped.
On the VIP tips for members only Peterborough beat me for a 28-1 fivefold but the stake is refunded as a free bet.
I've picked out a Top Treble and goals treble and backin Alfredo Morelos to score first for Rangers in the absence of Kyle Lafferty.
The treble starts with Rangers and over 1.5 goals. With Hearts and Celtic winning yesterday Steven Gerrard's men need to keep pace and shouldn't drop anything against struggling Accies who lost 6-0 at Hibs last time out.
There's always a worry about the plastic pitch but Gers have won there three in a row – with all seeing both scoring and overs including a 5-3 and 4-1 last season.
Apart from maybe Inter to win the Milan derby not much else takes my fancy but Borussia M'gladbach should beat a Mainz side who haven't scored in four games and do most of their best work at home. Borussia have the carrot of moving second with three points.
Add Hertha Berlin at home to Freiburg and this is riskier. However, Hertha have a 100 per cent home record and like Borussia are going well and sitting just behind them on goal difference.
Well done to anyone who beat the bookies on Saturday including kelly who completed another £1k challenge and Desmond who posted two winners out of three and was an MK Dons away from landing his 38-1 sevenfold.

Very intriguing fight here. Kautondokwa is the next highest in the WBO rankings after champion Billy Joe Saunders failed a doping test and was forced to vacate. Not much is known about this guy other than that he held a regional WBO title in Africa but his record suggests he is a bit of a puncher at 160 lbs; unbeaten in 17, 16 knockouts with 15 KO’s before round 6. From the few extremely poor Youtube clips I’ve seen of him he appears to have a good left hook on him and it could well which could come into play tonight.
Andrade is also unbeaten and no question has the better pedigree of the two, appearing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and has been a World Champion at Light Middleweight. He moved up in weight to compete at middleweight but there are, in my opinion, a few question marks over his chin. He’s been dropped at light middle but most importantly he was dropped on his one and only fight at middleweight. It remains to be seen if he really can take a solid shot from a true middlewight.
The most likely outcome here will probably be Andrade to win by decision at 8/5 however I think its a good move to play a small to medium stake on Kautondokwa to win by KO as he has campaigned at the middleweight limit for his entire career, he brings that unknown element to proceedings and will no doubt be hungry to become Namibia’s second world champion. It was only last week where the bookies messed up big time between Lewis Ritson and Fransesco Patera with the underdog Patera winning comfortably in Ritson’s backyard at 16’s so I’m happy to back Kautondokwa tonight.

Struggling to make sense of some prices out in Cyprus this evening…
No doubt APOEL are being priced on name alone, but their early season form doesn’t warrant them being such big favourites at home to AEL Limassol. AEL have won all five opening games, scoring 11 and conceding just once. This succeeds three pre-season friendlies in which they won all 3 games to nil.
By comparison, giants APOEL have started in surprising fashion. They’ve conceding 9 in their opening 4 games, which includes a 2-5 home defeat to Doxa. AEL beat that same Doxa side 2-0 only 3 weeks earlier, but APOEL’s leaky defensive form doesn’t end there. They’ve won 2-3 twice on the road to sides, including at Anorthosis – who themselves had bagged just 3 goals in 5 games before then. Their only domestic clean sheet came against lowly Ermis.
Last month’s 1-1 Super Cup draw against Larnacka draws many similarities to the type of opposition AEL will offer. Admittedly, APOEL’s home form in the pre-season European qualifiers is ominous, but AEL have scored against APOEL in all 3 2018 meetings – including twice away from home.
At 3/5 just to net, I think there’s real value there.

alandel, yes i’m a rangers fan but dont wear blue tinted specs rangers were poor today and 4-1 flattered them, best goal of the day was hamiltons, just watched the highlights there on BBC scotland and both rangers penalties were stone wallers which i thought at the time at the game, if anything the referee today did hamilton a favour as the centre half should of been red carded for the hand ball as morelos was directly behind him denying a clear goal scoring opportunity, had he been sent off he wouldnt of been on the park to foul morelos in the box to concede a 2nd penalty

DC United v Nycfc – Washington still need to secure a playoff spot, nyc already qualified but will be looking to pick up some form going into the playoffs
Philly v Nyrb – Nyrb could lose out on top spot in the east if they fail to win tonight and atlanta win, Phily already qualified but will be looking to keep their good home form going
Dallas v SKC – Both going for top spot in the west
Portland v RSL – Portland won this in salt lake 4-1 last week, rsl need a win or they risk losing out playoffs to galaxy
Minnesota v Galaxy – Minnesota have been strong at home and look to entertain, Galaxy simply need to win to keep playoff dream alive
Lafc v Vancouver – Lafc still have a chance to top the west, would be some going from an expansion team, they should be winning this against Vancouver in which we dont know what type of team will turn up with losing out in the playoffs the other night. They will be back to full strength after internationals and they are always worth a goal with a dangerous counter attack.

Not a game that will be on top of everyones list but San Jose v Colarado may have a big story line. Wondolowski is one goal behind Landon Donovans goal scoring record, he is 6/4 to score anytime.
