SATURDAY was all about the Champions League Final and Liverpool deservedly picked up the trophy.
They were better than Spurs on the night and it would have been harsh on them to finish with nothing after a stellar season.
Mo Salah's early strike should have led to a thriller but instead it seemed to strangle the life out of Spurs and it took a long time for them to get going.
Before the game the concensus was for a Liverpool win and goals but I never felt a Spurs goal was coming.
Well done to all the winners and there were plenty including HullShaker with great calls on corners in the Final. SlipsTips and Scott both tipped Liverpool and over 1.5 goals and among my tips I had Liverpool to win, Salah to score and penalty to be awarded.
Also well done to Greg for his Austrian goals tips – I had Wattens and Ried on a moneyback fivefold and they both won well as Wattens clinched the title.
Liverpool were also in there but Gothenburg were losers so I need Auchinleck to win for the 1pt stake back. My Super Single was Liverpool and both to score so a 1pt loser.
Auchinleck face Largs in the Scottish Junior Cup Final and I've posted a separate preview.
On Sunday there are lower-league play-offs, international friendlies and games from Scandinavia. Last week I correctly tipped Lens and Cittadella not to lose their play-off first legs but both could struggle away.
Dijon hit a late equaliser at Lens and have the advantage in the promotion/relegation play-off and I can't see them losing. Verona have to overcome a 2-0 deficit when Cittadella visit but will be buoyed by the fact they beat them 4-0 at home in the regular season. Verona should win but need to win well.
I'm tempted by a Verona/Dijon double but instead I'm going for a Scandinavian treble by taking three form sides.
Start in Finland with Honka, unbeaten in 10, who can go top with a home win against basement boys KPV.
Add two aways in Sweden – Malmo at Helsingborgs and Norrkoping at Esikistuna. Malmo, also unbeaten in 10, have a six-point lead at the top and travel to a side sitting third bottom and without a win in eight.
Norrkoping, who have been pegged back by six draws in 11 league outings, head to the bottom feeders who have one win all season and five home defeats in a row against Norrkoping.
Remember to check welovebetting for their video chat and tips.

Quick one from the two Estonian Esiliiga B games kicking off at 11am 🇪🇪
Vandra vs Keira
Parnu vs Viimsi
All 4 sides scoring and conceding plenty of goals. Over 2.5 goals double is a bit short at 4/5 so can to take both games over 1.5 goals and over 3.5 match goals
Both games are evens over 1.5 first half goals and 10/11 over 3.5 goals – 4 singles
Mrfixit
you must have been looking at a different game than me if you think liverpool were the better team last night ,spurs deserved something from that game .they were the better team.
Yeah they deserved something Theplug especially in the 2nd half as Liverpool offered very little but popped up with a 2nd goal to kill it.
It’s all about opinions so if you think Spurs were the better team that’s up to you.
I think Eriksen’s free-kick late on was their first shot on target and I said to people I was sitting with early on that Spurs weren’t going to score.
Had a few chances at the end and unlucky with the pen but I thought Liverpool controlled the game without hitting top gear.
BOXING SPOILER ALERT……If you don’t want to know what happened don’t read on…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………Don’t know about anyone else, but AJ didn’t look himself last night,he asked his trainer inbetween 1 of the rounds.”whats wrong with me?” Ruiz did himself proud with the way he fought, but im stunned at the lacklustre performance by the big Englishman,he looked dazed from the off……My Conspiracy Theory is Ruiz dabbed his gloves with a slight touch of Rohypnol and this is why big AJ got pumped….On the other hand, could just be AJ got too big for his boots, saw Ruiz as a fat Mexican and the dazzling lights of the U.S of A got to him.
Joshua is a typical Frank Bruno type, big physical specimen, robotic jab, big overhead punches,.
Since his amateur days his Adonis type body has quashed the skills that made him a good amateur and fighters with any decent lateral movement will get to him.
I think his managers have kept him away from fury, wilder etc as they knew their meal ticket had lost the ‘edge’ and has been spoon fed opponents who were supposed to try hard and lose, only this time the quiet nicey nicey build up suggested he overlooked ruiz and so it turned out
@Elvis he looked totally out of it,dont you think???
Gutted last night did a double, Double W’s won at 2/1 at Stratford and over 1.5 goals, 3+ spurs corner’s, 5+ Liverpool corners and 10 booking points each team!! How can you get bookings in when you don’t get one fiesty tackle in 90 minutes, very half hearted efforts!!
Greg shouted under 4 cards Loosie Jim and that’s what I went with. Under 4 cards/2 goals and over 5 Liverpool corners at around 3/1 but if I hadn’t seen Greg’s reasoning I’d probably have put in a card or 2 as well. Not 1 card I think?? Could have booked Rose for diving n just being a tool! Lol

Afternoon gents,
Corners stood me well in Madrid last night and there’s a game in The Urvaldeild that may well offer up the same rising corner count…
STJARNAN VS. VALUR (2015KO):
Neither of these two big-hitters have got off to a decent start and although the H2H has an awesome record for both sides scoring, I suspect corners may be the market to target:
OVER 10.5 CORNERS
(6/5, bet365) NAP
OVER 12.5 CORNERS
(3/1, bet365) NB
Best of luck 👍

Will give it another go,hopefully wins otherwise I’m jumping ship🤞
I think it’s time – before you’re pushed.
feel free to jump ship now if you like. I’m merely posting the selections that I back with my own money and people can choose to follow them if they like or not.
didn’t see you comment on either of the two winners I posted yesterday, or the winner earlier today. just negative comments on everyone’s tips.
Correct Alex he is an absolute melt. Every comment is just pure negativity and moaning.
You weren’t mentioned shortee,I will follow you when you start winning so concentrate on that rather than me matey👍
Dijon game goes to plan but Citadella saw red – literally, 2 red cards gave them no chance to score. Lost.
Atletico PR btts & overs 11/8
J Pedro ags 3/1
Good luck
Ffs early red card probably kill it
Hate it when that happens🤬
One game that interests me this evening in South America…
ALIANZA UNIVERSIDAD VS. SPORTING CRISTAL (2130KO):
Cristal the bigger, better and on form side here but they aren’t as bubbly away from home and may find life tough against Alianza who are themselves no pushovers – especially on home soil.
The hosts have scored 2-2-2-3-0-2in consecutive home games in the Peruvian Primera and, most notably, have not had the congestion that Cristal have had to deal with given their Copa Libertadores and then Copa Sudamericana fixtures!
One selection that looks very tempting:
ALIANZA UNIVERSIDAD GOAL BEFORE 58:00
(5/6, bet365)
Best of luck 👍
Not 1 corner at HT in Brazil, stinger like
Goal time beaten by 50 minutes 😀
ALIANZA UNIVERSIDAD GOAL BEFORE 58:00
(5/6, bet365) ✅
Well in hull lad thanks. Was on 👍
Full time sees just 7 corners in Iceland – not near enough and disappointing to have taken it over goals – 2-1 final score and btts/overs paid around evens 👎
No joy in France all bets down . Well done all winners .
