THERE are another five EFL Cup ties to look at on Wednesday with Liverpool v Chelsea the standout affair ahead of their weekend meeting at Stamford Bridge.
Clearly the Premier League meeting is the most important of the two so plenty of reserve players will be involved.
Arsenal are at home to Brentford and Spurs entertain Watford and again it's all about team news.
On Tuesday five favourites out of 10 won with Man United the biggest fallers at home to Derby and Burnley losing at Burton.
In Scotland there are three Betfred Cup quarter-finals – Rangers v Ayr, St Johnstone v Celtic and Hearts v Motherwell and I've posted a separate preview.
Elsewhere there's a busy card in Serie A including Juventus v Bologna and Napoli v Parma while Real Madrid at Sevilla and Barcelona at Leganes are the big games in La Liga.
There are five games in the Bundesliga and seven in Ligue 1 including PSG v Reims.
I've put up a couple of goals tips and will add reasoning after getting the old motor MOTd. The Super Single is a double due to the odds and I've added a moneyback fivefold on hot favourites and again left out the EFL Cup.
My SS is over 2.5 goals at Rangers and Sevilla. Rangers will make some changes but should be too hot for Championship side Ayr who could contribute after netting 12 in their last five.
Sevilla v Real has a recent history of goals and interesting Sevilla have won three and drawn one of the last four at home. That makes it tough to back Madrid at odds on but there should be goals with Sevilla hitting 11 in two and this fixtures has gone over 2.5 six times in a row.
For the btts treble I'm starting with two French games at 6pm – Amiens v Rennes and Nimes v Guingamp. Rennes usually score against any opposition and Amiens have seen both hit the target in three out of four.
Both Nimes and Guingamp have been involved in high-scoring contest this season. Five of Nimes' last six have produced btts and it's four out of six for Guingamp.
Complete the treble with Borussia Monchengladbach v Eintracht Frankfurt. Both have scored in both sides' respective last five matches out of six.
My Tuesday trebles were both losers but it was only 3pts risked on a card I didn't fancy much. Well done to everyone who managed to beat the bookies.
Remember to have a look at welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

BTTS Second Half 6/4 – quarter stake
Hopefully goals in this one. Sevilla now hitting some kind of form. Games against Madrid at home for Sevilla see goals – they have scored at least 2 in the last 6. 6/last 10 at home against Barca and Real have seen BTTS & Over 3.5MGS. Picked this one out myself and then read the review at WLB – worth a read.
Will pick out a ATGS in the Liverpool v Chelsea game – depending on line ups – like Sturridge 7/5

Sticking to my theme of hodge-podge selections at the moment after some success yesterday. I really fancy the Northern Ireland reserve game at Ballymena but I’m waiting on either an Asian Goal Line appearing or checking out some better markets in-play. Hoping the goal line is set at 3.0,3.5.
But, for now I’m on these.

Good luck all.
Morning gents, was a decent Tuesday night with Barnet going over 2.5 and although Havant equaliser in the 93rd minute I’m hoping anyone on it, like me cashed out the NAP before they scored for 95% profit
BETFRED cup acton tonight in Scotland and I’m taking Celtic to get their season back on track as they travel to Perth to play a St Johnstone side who shipped 5 goals against Rangers on Sunday
St Johnstone v Celtic (7.45pm)
Prior to the weekend, I really fancied us to give Celtic a game tonight but two things have happened since then that have altered my opinion on the outcome of this match.
Celtic lost away to Kilmarnock on Sunday and make no mistake about it, there is something seriously wrong at Celtic at the moment. They have already dropped 8 points but the most alarming thing for Celtic fans is 1) they are not playing well 2) they are really struggling for goals which is criminal with the talent they have at their disposal.
Secondly, we shipped 5 goals against Rangers and although we have a much better squad attacking wise, our midfield is not a ball winning battling midfield which you need against the league’s top teams. I fear we may be on the receiving end of a backlash, Celtic haven’t turned into a poor team over night, and after losing to Kilmarnock, the players have a point to prove and owe themselves and their 4,500 fans who’ll be at the game a performance.
We’re a decent side and we’ll be challenging top 6 again this season but I just have a feeling Celtic are going to come here and put in a performance and will score a couple of goals. I really don’t fancy us, not so much because of our defeat on Sunday to Rangers, more because Celtic are still a quality team and still head and shoulders above everyone else in the league. It’s a cup game and they will be wanting to continue their domestic dominance. Leigh Griffiths has scored in his last two and is a good shout to score again tonight. Add Celtic at 4/9 to a line but I’m taking them to win by 2 goals
Celtic -1
(11/8) (Betfair) (NAP)
It’s a really busy card on the continent with matches from Germany, France, Italy and Spain, and most other leagues. Due to the way the European leagues operate, (staggered matches across a weekend) it’s very rare to have so many kicking off at the same so tonight is one of the those nights where I’m going to be like a dog with a bone doing my early goal bets
6 French Ligue 1 matches (6PM)
5 Swedish Allsvenskan matches (6PM)
5 Swiss matches (7pm)
6 Italian Serie A matches (8pm)
Greg’s early goal bets explained:
To those unfamiliar with it, Bet365 on certain matches offer goal time markets in play. they’ll appear 10 minutes before KO. I’ll be on the following bets in each of the above leagues (will choose 5 matches from 6 in the leagues with 6 games)
Goal before 10 mins in the 5 matches
5 fold –
4 fold –
treble –
Goal before 30 mins in the 5 matches
5 fold
It’s a market I started doing a few seasons ago and I’ve had some good success with it, especially the 30 mins market. I’ve already managed all 5 up in the first 10 mins this season (Serie A week 2) and that paid £1500 for £15 stake. All 5 within 10 mins will pay between 900/1 to 1300/1 depending on the league, whilst you’ll get around 20/1 to 30/1 for goal before 30 mins
It’s a market I love – due to the big returns for small stakes, you try picking 5 horses at 3/1 / 7/2, near impossible, not unreasonable to think a match will have a goal in the first 10 mins . Even with three right you’ll still get double your stake back and its sets you up nicely for the 30 mins bet
It’s a bet I do every week I’m fortunate that I managed to land one so early in the season (all 5) – 30 mins landing is quite a regular thing. If you love goals, you’ll enjoy this market
Think Celtic will win tonight but they are not head and shoulders above the rest the table does not lie.
Western Connection mullered St Annes but alas not by enough – final score 0-4 👎
Morning gents,
Quick post as just heading off to deepest, darkest Yorkshire for my sins.

Liverpool v Chelsea
Chelsea to win at 16/5 (NAP)*****
Jurgen Klopp has shown his hand and clearly isn’t bothered about this cup,(which you can’t blame him(Chelsea have gone strong with only Hazard on the bench, our midfield looks strong but the inclusion of Lovren and Moreno is concerning and the front three of Chelsea should have a field day as Moreno is often found wanting and Lovren is Lacking match fitness.
Best of luck
Good call Macca but your rhetoric does make me laugh when you make it out like only Hazard on the bench.
Kepa, Alonso, Rudiger, Luiz, Kante, Jorginho, Hazard, Pedro and Giroud all missing from the Chelsea team. That’s 9 players missing while you state its 1…
Great call I will never doubt that and give you credit for not being blind to a good bet. But the reason alot of people dislike Liverpool is your fans are farcical in the way they create a rhetoric.
Nevertheless you’re a great addition to the site (which I sadly rarely get the chance to use nowadays) and good luck to you.
I could of gone into much more detail of course but i didn’t have the time as kick off was looming,i know what i meant, all the players that were starting were regulars and have played consistently together,Hazard was the only one missing that would make this a near first team.
I’m sorry but you’re totally wrong. Only Kovacic and Azpi are in Chelseas first 11. It’s nowhere near a first team. If Hazard plays that 3/11. I can’t see the sense there
It was however a decent side, as was Liverpool’s. I expect you will be correct to say you will win this weekend-you have a cracking team. But don’t turn the result from yesterday into something it wasn’t

Arsenal v Brentford
Brentford to win at 15/2 (NB)
Emery has decided to leave a whole host of players on the bench and i’m not sure why, they need a cup more than anyone and are showing Brentford total disrespect here.Brentford could be out of site by the time emery brings on the big guns.Well worth a punt for low stakes imo.

Arsenal v Brentford
Emery has rotated for tonight’s cup game against Brentford but still names a side that should be strong enough to do the job especially as Brentford have tested a few themselves.
Guendouzi has done a great job so far this season and starts alongside Elneny who was an important player for Arsenal last season, he retains the ball well and is rarely wasteful in possession. Mkhitaryan and Iwobi were both very good against Vorskla last week and will be very keen to remind Emery of what they can do, and I am very excited to see Smith Rowe get a start tonight in an advanced position as he is an extremely exciting prospect for the future.
I would have liked to see Nketiah start ahead of Welbeck, but I don’t mind if one bounces in off his backside.

I knew the changes made would have an effect on tonights game, the players have had no time together really and my thinking was when Hazard comes on how are Moreno and Lovren going to react.Make no mistake though i fully expect the strongest team to go to Chelsea and win comfortably on Saturday,it’s a cup we could do without and it could cost Chelsea in the long run.
Well done all winners
Nice one Macca & thanks, when I saw your post as a Liverpool fan i put a tenner on Chelsea 2-1 @ 12/1 and also had a fiver on 1-1 Liverpool.
Well in Vishal29,very rare i back against my own team but i will when i think we will lose, there was far to many changes for Liverpool to be as cohesive as they are when the full team are out, that said though we missed enough chances to win the game so i got a bit lucky or unlucky whichever way you look at it.The first team will start on Saturday and i fully expect Liverpool to win that game by a few.

Stupid again from Morelos, will be interesting in how we line up, was playing Kent up top last 40mins which was working ok but there was plenty of space.
Aberdeen probably the weakest team left in the draw so pleased.
He’s got Sadiq but says he must do better. Interesting to see what he comes up with.
