IT'S been a busy week with some good results and plenty of poor ones to put acca backers off track.
For example after a goal-laden French Ligue 2 on Tuesday, all six of the early French games went under 2.5 goals.
Lyon drew 0-0 to down many bets early doors including my Euro treble and Scott's members bet. On Tuesday it was Dortmund who beat a load of accas by losing at Werder Bremen and later plenty were on Newcastle who were held at Oxford before winning in extra time.
Hearts' heavy defeat at home to Kilmarnock was a surprise and that beat my Scots treble and my only winner was the Rangers and both to score Super Single at 21-10.
Well done to any winners last night including SlipsTips with a full house on the Spurs v Southampton FA Cup replay.
On Thursday it's really quiet with Real Madrid v Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Cup and they are two ties that promise entertainment. In the Belgian Cup it's Kortijk v Antwerp having drawn 1-1 in the first leg.
I was thinking about a goals treble but I've decided just to go for a single on Real Madrid and over 2.5 match goals. Scott's members bet is similar but not the same.
Real are unbeaten in 21 in all competitions and eyeing a treble as they get set for a place in the Spanish Cup semis. Sociedad are off the boil and this should be a comfortable Real win if they don't make too many changes – and four of the last five meetings have gone over 2.5 goals.
Barca visit and off-form Athletic Bilbao who are winless in three at a home ground that's usually a fortress. The last five meetings have gone under 2.5 goals which is why I don't want to back goals but Barca should win and Barca and under 3.5 goals should land at 8-5 with Betway.
If the first Super Single lands or looks as if it's coming in I'll have 1.5pts on the Barcelona bet. The Real game will finish around the time Barca starts so I'm telling you now.

I don’t see it as harsh at all. Hearts and Hibs players raise their game for the Old Firm then go back to default mode for everyone else. Maybe I see it different from you because I’m looking in from the outside but I stand by what I said.
Some teams do raise their game for the Old Firm but a lot of times it’s down to the occasion and atmosphere, etc.
