IT had been a good week until the Europa League games came along and bit me hard.
My early goals double needed a Hapoel Beer Sheva strike and the late was beaten early by Rangers' scoreless draw in Warsaw. The Top Treble was beaten by Eintracht Frankfurt and my 1pt Super Single required an AIK goal at Celtic. At least I tipped James Forrest top score first for Celtic at 13-2.
So not a great night but after four winning days in a row I can afford to drop a few points.
Well done to all the winners on Thursday and it's interesting to see how many people are following Nathan's challenge that started successfully.

I'm hoping to go into the weekend on a high with a winning goals double. As usual my focus is on the Saturday so haven't had much time to look at Friday's games but the two live TV matches in Scotland and England promise goals.
It would go against all stats if Morton v Partick didn't produce its fair share. Morton's last five have produced 30 goals including last week's 5-3 loss to Hibs after extra time. The also lost 4-2 at Ayr and drew 3-3 with QoS.
The Jags are less prolific but their last games have brought btts including two 3-2 wins and a 2-2 draw. Last season's league meetings at Cappielow ended 0-3 and 5-1 so this has to go over 2.5 goals – and on a single I'd risk over 3.5.
Add both to score between Aston Villa and Everton. The Premiership new boys' two league games have brought up the market and they've created plenty of chances in defeats to Spurs and Bournemouth. In all five of six have seen both score and it looks like Villa will struggle to keep clean sheets.
Even Everton, with one goal in their two games but four points, should find some joy at Villa Park – and according to opta they have scored two or more goals in each of their last eight Premier League encounters with Aston Villa.
The Toffees have been solid defensively and kept two clean sheets but attack-minded Villa can break them down.
Elsewhere ig games include Cologne v Dortmund in the Bundesliga and Granada v Sevilla in La Liga as well as the usual lower-league offerings from Holland, France and Austria. Dortmund should win by a couple and can see goals in Granada but not putting up any more accas.
I posted a Saturday Super Single shortlist earlier for members and from it I've decided to choose early with League Two leaders Cove and over 1.5 match goals at pointless Stirling as the odds are dropping.

Last nights Colombian game landed quite easily to keep the overs 0.5 ticking along a little.
Today’s matches are not perfect but there is something there around 19:00hrs in Holland and France, so plenty of time for research. They’re not leagues I’m over familiar with and may have to keep an eye out on some of the regulars thoughts. I know Holland can be good for goals, but will be looking at just 1 or 2 tonight maximum. I did around 20 bets, involving 30 or so matches in total to take me to £260, but I did bulldoze my was through to that number, not advised. After that, 7 singles, 1 double, 2 trebles, 2x 4 ways, and a 6 way. Not in that order though. So 29 selections to take me from £260 to £4800. The later I went on, the more I scrutinized my choices and tried to put the brakes on. I also did it over 11 days. I did over-reach, which is tough to control. Tonight I’m determined to play it safer, hence only 2 selections posted later down the thread.

Having had a nosey at mainly Dutch footie at 19:00hrs, my focus is on the two games involving NAC and Go Ahead Eagles.
The prices right now are dreadful, 1/66 and 1/40, but hold your nerve and strike your bets when you see the prices rise 3, 4 or 5 times. The longer you wait, the better the price, but the more chance of an early goal to ruin your plan. If a goal comes in either game, don’t chase a 2nd goal, scrub it and take a single match. If this goes ok, I’ll look into South American footie after midnight and try to find something.
Last night, particularly in the Braga game, that initial price increased rapidly just before and after kick-off. I’m hoping these 2 games follow suit. Safety is my priority, not big numbers.

Yep, that one took a while, but as stated, I’m after safety and discipline rather than huge strides. 12% gain for me. Not much to write home about but it’s better than a loss. When you guys start each day, write down your start bank and work the % you have gained after you’ve gained it. It gives you a series of small milestones to pass. My personal one is 37%. On some days you’ll walk 37% and then some, but on other days, it may take you 2 or 3 days combined to add a total 37% to your pot. If you nail 7x 37% gains, It is essentially adding a 0 to your start pot. In this case, since I’m starting from £10, yesterday I did 39.7%. I chalk it off and start progress to a 2nd 37%, If I hit 7 of them in however many days, your pot becomes £100 or thereabouts. Remember to pay yourselves every £25 milestone too – just a fiver and aim to get paid twice. That way, you’ve covered your stake and you’re playing with the bookies money. I shall have a gander at South America, see if anything jumps out at me, in the meantime, you guys are welcome to have a poke around yourself and see if any games pop up on your radar. Please resist the urge to bulldoze your way forwards, we’re in no hurry, maybe tomorrow there are better games – but tomorrow is a big big test. Lots of temptation and choices. Lots of chances for it to go pear shaped.
