JUNE was a tough month for betting but I managed to get out of it with no damage done.
For people whose punting revolves mainly around UK games and a little bit on the top European leagues it wasn't easy to focus on such events as the Women's World Cup, Copa America and the European Under-21s Championship.
The Super Singles and advised accas finished 0.1pts down with a 0-0 at AIK yesterday beating my both to score double.
I'll be taking it easy in July until the Scottish clubs kick off their Euro qualifying campaigns next week although I might have an odd bet from the later stages of Copa America or the Africa Cup of Nations but games there have been tough to call.
African games today are Namibia v Ivory Coast and South Africa v already qualified Morocco late afternoon and it's worth noting all Group D games have finished 1-0.
At 8pm we have Kenya v Senegal and Tanzania v Algeria. Senegal, with one from two, should pick up the points as should Algeria who are through with two victories and could rest some players.

It's the start of Wimbledon today and Sean Calvert's day one tips have been posted here. I'm no expert but I can't see past Novak Djokovic in the men's. As usual the women's event is wide open but I'm on defending champion Angelique Kerber despite her straights-set defeat to Karolina Pliskova in the Queen's final on Sunday.
Pliskova is 6-1 second favourite at Ladbrokes but her Wimbledon record is terrible and the courts seem to suit 9-1 shot Kerber much better.

Tartu Welco look destined to be facing the drop and I fancy Tallina to add to their woes in this 6 pointer clash.
As impressive as Parnu have been this season they still seem to struggle a lot more away from home and I believe they won’t have it all their own way against mid-table Tammeka who don’t fair too badly on their own patch. 7/4 for them to win or draw looks too big to ignore.
In Sweden Oddevold take on Ljungskile and this encounter looks to have goals in it! Oddevold have 14 points from 14 matches and find themselves languishing in the bottom half of the table. They have scored 17 and conceded 21. More interesting though, 3 from their last 4 has seen at least 4 goals. Ljungskile are currently 3rd and are very much a free-scoring side with 30 goals scored thus far. They have a slightly better goals scored average away from home (2.17) and I’d expect them to score 2 or 3 against Oddevold and hopefully concede a goal in the process.

Difficult to say without seeing your actual bet but I’d put my money on (no pun intended) Bet365 voiding your bet as Monfils retired in the final set. If this is the case, it’s a hard pill to swallow, especially as he was 3-0 down in the final set.
When it comes to tennis betting I would recommend checking t’s&c’s on particular betting firms as they have different rules on retirements in a match. Hope that helps!

adriang – it was probably a +6 game handicap but it’s irrelevant if Bet365 have voided this part of the bet due to retirement!
My tip was for Humbert to have a +1.5 set handicap. This seems to have caused some confusion with some taking first set game handicap of +1.5 which although won, was the wrong bet. I’m not even sure if Bet365 offered the set handicap so this also maybe confused some.
