TOOK a rare foray into the English non-leagues on Tuesday and hit the bar.
I decided to go with teams to win or draw and my fourfold was let down by Fylde crashing at home to Salford.
Boreham Wood and Harrogate were winners while Hartlepool drew so it was a decent effort but a loser.
Well done to all the winners including the usual suspects and Chesterfield scampi whose three winners on his preview at Boreham Wood included a 1-0 correct score.
If Tuesday was quiet Wednesday's a deathly hush with Havant & Waterlooville the only offering from the National League although it's live on TV.
Nothing much else to look out as we get closer to the internatiionals so it's a no-bet day for me and a game of golf instead.
Remember to check out all the match previews and have a look at welovebetting for their tips and videos.

Boreham Wood v Chesterfield
Vanarama National League. Tuesday September 4. Kick-off 7:45pm.
WHAT a difference 3 weeks makes. At that point 3 Tuesdays ago on 52 minutes my side Chesterfield were leading at Barrow looking to make it 4 wins in a row when a red card turned the game in the hosts’ favour and here we are facing Boreham Wood on the back of 5 consecutive defeats.
On paper Boreham Wood are only three points ahead of Chesterfield but they are undefeated at home (2 wins, 2 draws) and at the moment I am struggling to see where the goals are coming from for Chesterfield. We played fairly well on Saturday but the lack of quality in the final third was obvious.
Also, we are struggling a little with injuries. Charlie Carter (who is probably our best player) and Sam Wedgebury are both long term absentees.
For these reasons I think Boreham Wood are backable at 13-10 (Coral). Seven out of 8 Chesterfield game this season has been won by a single goal either way, with all the last 5 games seeing the Spireites lose by 1. Also both of Boreham Wood’s home victories have been by a single goal. So, Boreham Wood to win by 1 goal at 11-4 at bet365 also appeals.
We haven’t looked atrocious at the back but as stated going forward we have looked poor. The last 3 games have all ended in 1-0 defeats, so, it might be worth having a small stake on another 1-0 defeat for Chesterfield at 6-1 (Coral),
Recommended Bets
Boreham Wood to win (13-10, Coral)
Boreham Wood to win by 1 goal (11-4, bet365)
Boreham Wood to win 1-0 (6-1, Coral
3 winners but still quite rubbish being a Chesterfield fan
I’d normally advise again Saturday but Dover are in poor form and have yet to win away so we might scrape a 0-0!!!
Well done with the tips. Trying to work out how Boreham Wood will get on in the Irn-Bru Cup against Dunfermline on Saturday.
Also have Airdrie v Sutton, TNS v Queen’s Park, Falkirk v Connah’s Quay and a few others I’m struggling to work out.
It’s almost impossible to work these games out, particularly dependent on how seriously each team is taking the competition. Its certainly a fair trip for Dunfermline to be making and the same goes for Sutton.
The standard I’d guess might not be too much different. Although the top teams in the conference aren’t much different from English league two from what I can see so far this season
I’d say the Conference teams will be better than Airdrie and maybe better than Dunfermline.

Got too laugh at the SFA’s baffling decision regarding retrospective action on McGregor. Even Stevie Wonder tweeted that Allan McGregor should have had a red card for kicking Ajer. Absolute shambles of a decision. Was the same player last weekend elbowing Hartley at Fir Park. Maybe a PPV match up with his namesake Conor in the new year would suit his style.
Anyhoo onto a poor day so BTTS in all 4 ?? cup QF’s & stick in the ?? cup game for a 5fold

@scampi nice one mate
Had the pleasure of visiting Chesterfield a few times – not just just to see the crooked spire ?
Hartlepool brought an end to my run of 6 winning NAPs a pretty good 7 days
Slim pickings today’s, could be goals at Havant and there are 4 Japanese cup games at 11am (don’t fancy the Spanish games )
Like Mr F – no bet day for me, gives me chance to look at Thursday matches
Good luck if you’re having a bet ⚽️??
Cheers @gregbrowning. Got to admit its pretty down heartening to tip against my side! But, the stats were there.
The local legend goes that the crooked spire twisted when a woman who wasn’t a virgin got married there!
Got to say despite all the warnings I wasn’t prepared for life in the conference. When your teams on the back of a double relegation you think it can’t get much worse but I think losing to barrow and boreham wood kicks you even further down!
@dc-john-boy , @mr-h
Good luck gents
@mr-h absolutely ridiculous these decisions, the fact a panal of clowns review and come up with that decision is embarrassing ?
Greg Naismiths on Hayes wasn’t any better either Greg. They’re basically saying you can kick out if it’s not excessive force or ‘brutality’ and you won’t get red carded. A blatant kick on an opponent should be a red no matter the force used, its violent conduct. But hey ho 3 ex refs have seen it as a friendly pat on the hip with his foot
All the panel is doing is enforcing the rules (which clearly need to change)
Panel have now refused Devlin’s appeal now? They are an absolute joke
They’re not enforcing the rules. They have the ability too decide for themselves if it was excessive force or brutality, that’s personal opinion. There’s no rule too decide that. If kicking an opponent off the ball isn’t deemed excessive force then the decision makers wrong….. the excessive force or brutality debate should be saved for tackles not snidey cowardly kicks at a player on the deck with no ball involved ?
Can anyone tell me the result of the Trinidad & Tobago pro league match result from last night (St Anne’s Rangers v Central FC)…cant seem to find it anywhere…
I think Columbo himself would struggle to solve this one one mate – there is nothing on twitter but I did manage to translate some comments on a forum ( via google translator ) that that it appears to have been postponed but not confirmed
looks like the game was postponed chaps?
Cheers for the help fellas…
All 3 of tonight’s games postponed in that league too, according to Futbol24.
Time zones are confusing me. Those other 3 games may have been meant to be played already, like around midnight of the 4th/5th our time while we were asleep, I don’t know, I can’t get a grip on the time zones. Excuse me for muddling the issue.
Central won 2-0
Cheers @alves….which site did you get that from mate?
Not looked at these but the T&T games are prone to monstorous rainstorms, etc so you’ll often find they are delayed and postponed!
Reason I ask @alves, is I had (Hull’s) Leones before 61 mins and the T&T game >2.5mgs in a double…B365 seem to have settled the bet as a win for the 1st bit and a void for the 2nd…so I’m guessing they paid out on the T&T as if it were a void?

Not a lot of joy last night , i managed to get a goal in the first half Brazilian B games 5/1. winner. Softened the blow a little.
One goal short on the over 1.05 goals. 7/2 . It`s the first time i have done this League, will look out for it in future .
Brilliant league mate and brilliant prices. I got my late bet up
On it with 2-3 goals at ponte preta game. I posted it on yesterday thread. Evens. £50 just.
Great prices on 1st half goals and I saw all we’re up by the 35min mark.
2/1 landed, pleased with that, shame about the BTTS not happening for the full house but Ponte got a red card after only 29 mins which really killed their chances.

Evening all.
Night Owl for me
Athletico GO v Figueirense- 11.15PM
Fortaleza v Figueirense- 1.30AM
Fortaleza have an excellent home record, and proved so against Figueirense earlier this year, beating them 1-3 away. Taking them on the straight win.
I’m doubling this up with another game that has favourable consistency, Athletico GO v Ponte Preta. Both teams have scored in this fixture in 8/9 previous H2H outings – Atletico GO running out victorious in most of these in recent order; 1-3,1-3,3-0,3-4,2-2,3-1,1-1,3-1,1-1.
Whilst the home win wouldn’t be a shabby pick IMO, I’m taking BTTS here.

On a 6/5 double this afternoon that I’m pretty confident should land.
Malaysian Cup – Johor Darul v ATM 13.15 ko.
The home side are 2-1 down after the first leg from last Wednesday, which was a bit of a shock, as Johor are by far the better team, with an excellent record at home.
Going for the home win here.
Thailand Premier League – Prachuap v Port 14.00 ko.
5th v 3rd in this one and both know the way to goal.
Prachuap have netted in all 13 home games this season, while Port have scored in 12/13 on their travels.
BTTS is my selection here.
Good luck to everyone having a bet today ?

Howdy Guys, is been a nostalgia week for me with rising to the top and now at the bottom in my betting account looking forward to getting to the top again and remaining there if you catch my drift;
boring games today nothing flash for me here but early hours of Thursday morning one game from Costa Rica division 1,
games between Saprissa vs Limón FC kick off 3:00 am.
saprissa are flying high right about now with 7 games played and winning 5 drawing 1 and losing 1 which sees them at the top of the log, while Limon are bottom with current form, 7 games played win 1, lose 6, draw 0, but that aside what caught my fancy here is saprissa home form which sees them playing 3 and wining all 3 with a minimum of 2-3 goals per game, the goals have been coming at home with H2H against limon showing 13 meetings since 2015 and current last 6 games at home has seen them score 2-5-4-2-6-3 goals. while limon aint shy of scoring away from home, including the last 6 games between them with both team scoring coming in 5 of this games… based on form and stats here 3 selections to consider:
Saprissa over 2.5tgls???
BTTS/OVER2.5goals???
Saprissa HT/FT WIN???
Chao!
Saprissa over 2.5tgls??? ***WON***

Afternoon gents,
Decent day yesterday and totally agree with the card – it’s certainly not the best but despite it being flatter than a witches t*t, there’s always a ray of South American sunshine that might just offer up a bit of value…
WILSTERMANN VS. REAL POTOSÍ (2000 KO):
I’ve been watching events at The Estadio Municipal de Sacaba over the last few weeks and I reckon it may be time to welcome Jorge back with open arms…well, at least for this fixture!
It was a mixed start for Wilstermann after the heroics of the last campaign but if you rule out their 2-1 away defeat to Bolivar (which is not a bad result at all) then it’s fair to say they have found some form again.
Last time out they beat the very impressive Royal Pari 1-0 and prior to that, it was a 1-1 draw with high-flying Oriente Petrolera.
Both were preceeded by two wins against Guabira and San Jose – matches which saw our erstwhile heroes net a trio of goals in each.
So, what of their opponents this evening? In a word Real Potosi are dire; rock-bottom after 9, they have conceded 5-2-0-3-5-3-4-1-2-4 goals in successive matches and have just 1 win and 1 draw in their 9 league matches so far.
Tellingly, Real Potosi were walloped 0-5 away from home by by a San Jose side exactly 1 month ago…exactly 1 week after, Wilstermann thumped the very same San Jose outfit 3-1!
H2H-wise the sides have met 4 times in just over a 12 month spell with Jorge grabbing the points emphatically each time with 6-4-2-5 team goals in the respective matches.
I’m backing The Mighty Wilstermann to turn the corner and win our hearts back with a Bolivian belter!

Also had MLS game at midnight earmarked so going for a double
NYCFC win and 3-4 goals at 23-10
Hull’s Jorge -2 11-10
Double pays just under 6-1 (PP)
Despite NYCFCs recent minor dip in form they should have too much at home (7 wins in last 10) for a New England team that have struggled on their travels, 0 wins in 10, although expect them to get on the scoresheet. Last 5 h2hs have seen 3-4 goals…I’ll give it a go…good luck all ?

Denmark will come with a “youtube” guy, one works in a prison and another player repairs boats.
A construction worker is always handy, and oh , the carpenter is a fan of Barcelona.
Odds for 1 X 2 are low, I would say go for (many) goals.
You think it’s that one sided that it’s worth a bet?
I’m a bit dubious of it
Just watching the warm up to the Danish game, the Danish experts including Christian Larsen, Poulsen pro’s of the game are slating their chances. The Dane’s will get battered looking at the Slovakian line up.
Only 4 players know each other with 48 hours together they have no chance and don’t know what they are up against.
-4 on the asian handicap is a bare minimum surely!!!!
Mind you if anyoone asked you to play for your country would you turn it down???? Hope they can hold their heads up high come 90 mins but fear the worst.

Yes, I’m watching this. Not the one-sided slaughter many thought. Giggs will be looking on intently. But wait, Fogt has just potted in his own goal – a needless error, he should have just left it. 3-0.
