IRELAND will qualify for the finals if they win in Switzerland tonight but Mick McCarthy's men could still be knocked out.
Group D is possibly the tightest of the lot with the Irish, Denmark and the Swiss losing just one game between them.
That Swiss defeat came in Denmark on Friday when they were denied by a Kasper Schmeichel super show.
They are four points the top two – who have still to meet in Dublin – with games left to play against Georgia and Gibraltar.
So while they look outsiders I fancy the Swiss to qualify but they must pick up three points tonight and are 4-7 at Betfred.
Ireland blew a golden chance with their 0-0 draw at Georgia and scoring remains a problem with just six in six games – although they've conceded just twice.
Haris Seferovic of Benfica is first-scorer favourite at 9-2 with Betway.
Elsewhere, in Group F Spain are almost there but losing an injury-time equaliser in Norway means they'll be looking to beat Sweden away. It won't be easy but I'm willing to risk Spain at 10-11 with bet365.
If Sweden lose the winners of Romania-Norway will have a chance of second spot. Norway looked decent against the Spanish and I'm risking them at 9-5 with McBookie while Norway draw no bet is safer on an acca.
Now here's a question: Who is the top scorer in Euro qualifying?
If you answered Israel's Eran Zahavi with 10 take a bow. Back Zahavi at 12-5 with Betway to net first against Latvia.
In Group J Italy will seal their spot by beating Liechtenstein but how many will they win by? It was 6-0 at home and the minnows lost 2-0 at home to both Finland and Greece. Reckon it will be at least 3-0 for the Italians with the -2 handicap paying 4-11 at bet365 and -3 returning 19-20 with Ladbrokes.
Finland, Armenia and Bosnia are battling for second spot and the Finns will be in the box seat if they beat the Armenians at home at 8-13 with Ladbrokes. Evens would have been nicer but they should win and it's time for Norwich striker Teemu Pukki to get back on the scoresheet at 11-8 with Betway.
Bosnia head to a Greece side whose only win in seven came against Liechtenstein and I like the away at 13-10 with bet365 while Bosnia draw no bet pays 3-5 at Marathonbet.
