THE FIGHT for Premiership survival is going to the wire and the race to make the play-off final could also go all the way.

Dundee United and Falkirk couldn't be split in a humdinger of a semi-final first leg on Tuesday and picking a winner tonight is almost impossible.

Home advantage could give Bairns the edge – and they've beaten United twice at the Falkirk Stadium this season – but it's tough to call.

If forced to choose I'd take Peter Houston's men for the way they battled back twice at Tannadice then almost stole it at the end when John Baird's header was ruled offside.

They are 4-5 favourites to qualify at 888sport with United 11-10 at Paddy Power. To win in 90 minutes the Bairns are 7-2 at McBookie with United 2-1 at Marathonbet.

I'm happy to sit on the fence though and take a draw at 13-5 with McBookie over 90 minutes which, with away goals not counting double, could force extra time.

It was 2-2 going on 4-4 at Tannadice and hopefully both sides are as adventurous before any nerves kick in. Another score draw pays 18-5 at McBookie.

On Wednesday I watched Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield going to penalties and that is a possible outcome. Back either team to win on penalties and prices should be available today.

Both teams to score pays 4-6 at bet365 and over 2.5 goals should land at 4-5 with McBookie.

Baird is 13-8 with McBookie to score while United's on-form striker Simon Murray will be popular at 85-40.

Inverness remain massive favourites at 1-6 with McBookie to be relegated from the Premiership despite giving themselves a lifeline by beating Dundee on Tuesday.

Richie Foran's side must beat Motherwell at home and hope Hamilton, 7-2 to finish bottom, lose against Dundee at the SuperSeal. A draw could save them if Accies are beaten by five but that's unlikely.
