Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

Hibs will still be kicking themselves after they failed to get anything from Rangers in midweek, but they can make up for it by winning at Livingston.

David Gray's side had arguably the better chances at Easter Road and also missed a late penalty as Rangers ran out 1-0 winners.

Hibs have probably underachieved so far this season after last term's incredible third placed finish despite being bottom of the table in November.

But they are better than their points total suggests and they really have to be winning at places like Livingston if they are to move up the league.

David Martindale's side are starting to find their return to the top flight tough and are currently bottom of the league.

They have now gone nine games without a win in all competitions and look to be struggling.

It's never easy at Almondvale, but their new pitch has probably actually worked against them.

Staying in the Premiership, Falkirk can beat an injury-hit Kilmarnock at McBookie.com's 21/20.

John McGlynn's side were the fall guys in midweek when they crashed to a 4-0 win in Martin O'Neill's triumphant return to Celtic.

But his Bairns are strong at their Falkirk Stadium home and have already held Hibs and Rangers to a draw there and defeated Dundee.

They've bounced back after every poor result this season.

Killie come into this on the back of a three-game losing run – the latest came in midweek against an off-form Aberdeen side.

The loss of influential keeper Max Stryjek looks like it will have a big impact on them and they have a few injury problems too apart from him.

Confidence must be low among Stuart Kettlewell's men and Falkirk can take advantage.

Annan Athletic can make the long journey north to Elgin City worthwhile with a 7/4 success with McBookie.com.

Wullie Gibson's side have turned it around after a terrible start to the season and last week's impressive Scottish Cup win at Clyde was their fifth win in their last six games, with the other match a draw.

They lost 6-0 at home to the Bully Wee in September, so it's a sign of how much they have improved.

Elgin City needed a last gasp winner to see off Highland League Deveronvale in the Scottish Cup last week and have lost two out of their last three league games.

And they are surely uneasy favourites against improving Annan.
