EVER wondered how bookies are sizing up the weekend card. Here's the thoughts from inside camps at 188BET and BetVictor.

There's a look ahead at England's friendly in Germany and a look at Saturday's Scottish lower-league card.

IT’S a fairly quiet weekend of football but hopefully we can still find a few Easter eggs for you starting with Rangers’ match against Queen of the South.

Not surprisingly Rangers are massive favourites to win at Ibrox where they have dropped two points all season. But league meetings between the two over the last couple of seasons have been pretty close at Ibrox.

The last three matches between the two clubs at the home of the runaway league leaders has seen two draws with the Rangers winning the other 2-1 thanks to an injury-time winner.

Should the Dumfries men maintain those levels the draw today is 6.30 (53-10) while the double result on a Queens win or a draw is 4.13 (just over 31-10).

The biggest game today is Germany’s friendly with England. There will no doubt be a flood of bets for Germany this side of the border and that is no bad thing. England’s odds are often skewed by the weight of money from the patriotic punt down south meaning you can get better value when backing their opponents.

The world champions are odds on to win in Berlin at 1.65 (8-13) with the draw 3.65 (53-20). England have won their last two games in Germany but it’s hard to see them making it a hat-trick however tempting the odds of 4.75 (15-4) might be.

188BET will refund losing bets on the match if any player from Leicester or Spurs. And with the teams boasting the Premier League’s top two scorers in Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy it’s likely England’s hopes could largely rest on the performance of the two in-form strikers. Kane is 3.4 to score at any time with Vardy 4.0.

Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Danny Drinkwater are also in the squad so a goal from any of them will trigger the refund on losing correct score, first or anytime scorer and double result markets.

SCOTLAND have been cut from 5-1 to 4-1 to reach the World Cup finals after beating the Czech Republic on Thursday.

The Scots’ next test is against Denmark at Hampden on Tuesday and they are 17-10 to follow up with another victory. Denmark are 8-5 favourites with the draw 9-4 at BetVictor.

The key to the Scots’ transformation has been building the side around a solid defensive foundation and irrespective of the likely changes made to the side by Gordon Strachan they appeal at 7-2 to win to nil on and 15-2 to win by one

Rangers have been eased to 1-33 (from 1-50) for the Championship Title after Friday’s shock 3-2 defeat at Falkirk.

The Gers are playing on through the international break and are 2-11 to bounce back at home to Queen of the South this afternoon. The visitors are 11-1 and the draw 5-1.

Queens shouldn’t be underestimated, however, after beating Dumbarton 6-0 at the weekend in arguably their strongest performance of the season. The less said about the Sons’ efforts the better but with Alloa and Livingston both losing Dumbarton’s were blushes were spared.

They have a rare week off but there’s plenty of action elsewhere with Alloa in the last-chance saloon in their bid to salvage something at the foot of the table and 5-1 to claim a precious three points when welcoming St Mirren today. The Buddies are 4-7 favourites and the draw 3-1.

The Wasps were no match for Morton last week, beaten 4-1, but they battled bravely before eventually succumbing to two late goals from Declan McManus and Denny Johnstone.

As mentioned Morton were flattered by the result and warrant taking on as the 11-8 favourites when hosting Raith on home soil. Rovers won 2-1 at St Mirren in midweek and look overpriced at 7-4. The draw is 12-5.
