Leicester City v Tottenham Hotspur
Premier League. Kick-Off : 7.45pm, Saturday December 8th. Live on BTSport 1.
SATURDAY night's live match should be cracker when Leicester host Spurs in front of the BT Sport cameras.
The Foxes are unbeaten in seven (including a penalty shoot-out win v Southampton in the EFL Cup) but a lack of goals will be a concern for Claude Puel. They've scored just five in those matches, and two have come from the spot, so it's obvious where they need to improve.
Tottenham on the other hand don't appear to have the same problem. Only Arsenal have scored more goals away from home in the Premier League, although Spurs have the best record on the road, taking 21 points from a possible 29.
Third in the table, Spurs have won 10 of the last 11 against sides currently outwith the top five in the league – an impressive record. 888Sport have them at even money to add another win to that record at the King Power Stadium.
Despite Leicester's paucity in front of goals this fixture has a history of throwing up high-scoring games. 19 goals have been scored in the last three meetings (Spurs 5-4, Leicester 2-1 & Spurs 6-1). Under the lights and live on TV, this could be another one where Over 2.5 Goals will pay dividends at 10/13 (888Sport).
Those odds more than double for just one more goal to 41/20. Seven of Spurs' last 10 have seen this land.
Spurs have led in 10 of 15 Premier League matches at half-time and average a goal every first half. They're 3/4 to notch before the break and that looks decent value.
Harry Kane is always an obvious choice whenever he plays and he's 3/1 to open the scoring or 19/20 to score anytime. Although Spurs have plenty of attcking threats I'd rather be on Kane at that price than Son (39/20), Moura (5/2) or Alli (13/5).
So, it's a Spurs win for me and glut of goals that'll beat any primetime Saturday night entertainment the terrestial channels have to offer.
