ST MIRREN and Aberdeen have hit the ground running after the winter break so their clash in Paisley tonight is an intriguing one.
The Buddies have won both their games since returning and avoided a cup banana skin with little fuss at Ayr on Saturday.
At the same time Aberdeen were easing past Edinburgh City at home, having impressed a few days earlier in a Pittodrie draw against Rangers.
St Mirren were crushed 4-1 up north when these sides last locked horns but it was Jim Goodwin’s men who came out on top in the last Paisley meeting.
