NATIONS LEAGUE action this evening and I suspect there could be mileage in looking at the card markets in England’s match.

Spain v England (7.45pm)

The hosts have been looking more like their former selves after a stinker of a summer and could well frustrate a languid-looking England side into making a few rash challenges.

Even without a crowd present against Croatia, England didn’t manage to maintain a professional head with three players receiving yellows and two with subsequent suspensions.

With so many young faces looking to make an impact and the relative inexperience against a footballing style like Spain’s I expect to see a few “heads gone” moments!

Well in with the England cards, Hull. And Pickford’s cockiness in his own area should really have resulted in a penalty for Rodrigo. But still ’15 o play as I write and it’s getting heated out there at times.
