CERRO PORTENO obliged once again last night and smashed the goal time of 41mins by half an hour for the main bet.
They were seconds too late for the 3-1 early goal but I’ll let them off and they’ve been a great side to back this last Apertura/Clausura campaign!
The same can’t be said for Sporting Cristal who pissed all over my campfire in the later pick with a rare 0-0 bore draw.
On to Sunday’s card and two games stand out – one from South America and one from the cooler climes of the Nordic region.
GRECIA v CARMELITA (5.15pm)
Grecia’s early-won crown has slipped of late and a string of drawn games sees them slip from top to 4th place but I reckon they can conjure up a sweet victory against poor opposition this evening.
Carmelita have just 1 draw and 10 losses on the road in their last 11 matches and could be up against it with a Grecia side who have hit at least two in 5 of their last 7 home matches and did the same in 6 of the last 7 historic H2H’s at the Estadio Allen Riggioni Suárez.
Cheers Des – just heading back from the tropical (😂) coastand be back around KO time so fingers crossed 🤞
