PLEASED to see the Argentinian goal gamble paid off last night and I’ll be staying in South America for this evening’s pick.
It’s destination Montevideo for a Copa Sudamericana quarter-final 2nd leg and once again it’s not numbers of goals I’m interested in but who’s going to get them and more importantly when.
NACIONAL v FLUMINENSE (10.30pm)
All about Uruguayan giants Nacional’s home form here – it’s a pretty damn impressive record with just 1 home loss in 27 and that to local rivals Montevideo Wanderers.
A frustrated Fluminense outfit will be out for revenge after conceding a late, late equaliser in the 1st leg but the Uruguayans are no mugs and will make life incredibly difficult for the travelling Brazilians.
Not one that’s likely to see many goals but I reckon Nacional will find the net and the shaky away form of Fluminense adds to the cause.
