ONE game stands out for me on Sunday and I’m heading to the Estadio General Adrián Jara on the hunt for Paraguayan goals.

General Diaz v Guarani (8.30pm)

While neither team are covering themselves in glory there is a common thread running through both sides recent games … goals!

Bottom side Diaz are having a ‘mare – their last 7 matches have seen 4-2-5-4-4-4-4 match goals with just 1 win during that spell. They have, however, netted in 5 of those 7 games.

For their part Guarani are in marginally better form and have picked up a few more points but once again it’s goals that take centre stage with their last 4 seeing 3-3-3-3 match goals.

Both sides will be going for it here and looking to pick points up in what will be a difficult campaign for both. In the last 9 months the 3 most recent H2H’s have seen 4, 3 and 7 goals – my thinking is we may just see a few more here:

Recommended Bet

  • Over 3.5 match goals (13-8, bet365)
