Tuesday’s Free Racing Tips: Ange Endormi will strip fitter for recent run

Apologies for the lack of activity. A van breakdown in work had me getting home too late for any study for Saturday and I didn’t fancy anything on the Sunday.

My only real fancy on the Saturday was Kitty’s Light who Rizz had already tipped up. If given a better ride I think it would have won or at least gone closer despite jumping like an elephant.

One runner caught my eye at Southwell who I expect to strip fitter for the recent run and more improvement is expected from connections.

Ben Pauling's Ange Endormi should strip more fit for a recent run which was at this venue 3 weeks ago.

He was just back from a wind op and a 3 month lay off, he ran a good race when finishing 2nd of a low intro mark of only 80.

The form of that 2nd has turned out quite well with the winner that day, Highstakesplayer has since won again at Taunton and then followed up with a 2nd at Doncaster 4 days later.

Highstakesplayer was been risen a whopping 13lb for those two recent runs and has remained highly competitive. My selection has only been risen 4lb for his last run and given he was only beaten around a length and that was his first run back after 3 months of the track I reckon he could go close with further progress expected with the added headgear also added with the hope of easing out a bit more.
