MONDAY sees a return to jumps racing after the brutal weather and that is great news.

It looks like they will have jumps cards at Southwell and Lingfield along with all-weather racing at Wolverhampton and Kempton where they have a card of “jumper’s bumpers”.

My top tip of the day is my old pal REMILUC at Lingfield in the 3.45. I had thought Chris Gordon might give him a run at Cheltenham and he may still do that but it looks he will run here in what is a much tamer race than he has been used to lately when he won at Cheltenham back in January at 20-1 and then grabbed us some place money when I had tipped him at 50-1 last time out.

He owes us absolutely nothing but I think he has the class to win again against this field despite carrying top weight.

My second tip comes in the first race (2.0) on the card at Kempton where MAGIC DANCER has been given an entry after being a non-runner due to the weather on Friday.

Regular readers will remember I tipped the horse then and the same principals apply today. He was the best of these on the flat and has hit some great form recently over hurdles so I think he should have too much of a turn of pace for Brahms De Clermont who is the main danger.

Meanwhile, Johnb continued his good start to the month with two winners on Sunday and that's five out of five over the weekend.

His Sunday selections weren't put on the site but did feature on Twitter at mrfixitstips.

come Cheltenham I think placepots made up of alan ‘money’thomson, john b, and voice of value tips should provide some value.
last 3 years pots have been
      2015- 211-1280-239-102
      2016- 3227-36-62-1680
      2017- 436-3255-58-1676
only trick is how to perm them in races where more picks are needed I:e the big handicaps, im sure our resident experts will offer some guidance closer to next Tuesday.

cant wait, just 8 days now, im going on Tuesday and looking forward to the roar before race 1.

just wish trainers would have to declare earlier then we would know where to start looking form wise, like SAMCRO is sat at 14-1 for the supreme novice with bet365, a race in which most people seem to think he wont be running in, so a non runner no bet [which bet365 are offering] on this is a no brainer in case they do a shifty one and run him here.
hills have SAMCRO 6-4 betfred 6-1 betfair 8-1 for this with no non runner no bet terms.
      mad isn’t it ??????

      Ta bud.
Had better flat pedigree than zubayr, one of those Godolphin nags John Ferguson took jumping.
Ran well this time last year beating zubayr in the Scottish champion hurdle and was a few pound better in today although this was a flat race.
He will probably go to Cheltenham or aintree now, probably aintree where he won a grade 2 last year before his Scots champion win.
One to keep an eye on.

Well done yesterday John, your on fire this year.
What things do yourself and Hugh Taylor look for before tipping a horse?
Eg. Taylor tends to tip horses on the all weather, by sires who have a decent record on the all weather.

Alan Thomson is on a short break. He will post a Cheltenham preview later in the week and be back next week.
He doesn’t tip for the sake of it and after Cheltenham I don’t think he’ll be tipping every day.

It’s great to see a certain bookie being done over by a rumour, it was just a well thought out simple question that has them running for cover and has cost them tens of thousands of pounds
Someone must have wanted to bring to light their incompetence so bad, someone must have wanted to make them pay so bad with no risk to the normal punter

Looks like the cash out flaw has been fixed, i’m only getting offered what I put in.

I wonder if this was part of Bet365’s plan, knowing that when the horse doesn’t run, your money is still in bet365 and not another company and are more likely to spend it rather than withdraw. Similar to skybets cash back if a loser offer etc. Unless the horse does run and win….. fingers crossed.

Anyone looking for Cheltenham bets, there’s no point me posting just now as ground conditions are still unsure, I am still going with soft, some close to the track are saying there is a possibility of heavy and really it could be anything from good to soft and heavy and it probably won’t get clearer till Sunday as to what the going will be

Seen djakadam, Ryanair 11-2 top 3 finish at betfair non runner no bet.
This horse is proven at the track, 2x 2nd and a 4th in gold cup good enough for me.
Ran OK in Irish gold cup recently behind 2 horses who won’t be in opposition here, hopefully ?

      John
      Any reasoning for Archimedes.

He is weighted to lose on head to head recently with something lucky and Crosse fire.
Something lucky has had a busy schedule but has been running to form at wolves.
His trainer is a dab hand with the old sand nags and has rarely run a bad race here since joining Appleby.

I was thinking something lucky and either Archimedes or Crosse fire straight forecast until you tipped Archimedes.
Not sure now, probably stick with it as you shouldn’t change your mind in this game.
