The Voice of Value Racing Tips: Let it Bee at Goodwood

QUITE a lot of tips for me today with a focus on Goodwood and a nice meeting at Hamilton Park tonight. Best of luck to anyone going along to either meeting.

Let’s start with a winner. DEE EX BEE (3pm Goodwood) would probably rather have a big flat galloping track (he is on my radar for the St Leger at Doncaster later in the season) but he is miles clear of his opponents here in official ratings and should be around even money. He is too big a price because of two poor runs recently but there were excuses there and he should massacre this lot.

In the Stewards Cup at Goodwood I think the top weight GIFTED MASTER (3.40pm Goodwood) is a great price. Best horse in the race and in excellent form and with the extra place offers floating about we have to get involved.

Later in the card our old pal WAARIF (5.25pm Goodwood) lines up in a decent handicap. This isn’t as easy as his last two races where he has won but with the way he travels and his level of consistency I think he will run a strong race again and be there or thereabouts.

Over at Hamilton they have some great racing tonight and there are a few I’ve picked out at decent value.

In the opening race JORDAN ELECTRICS (5.50pm Hamilton) should run better than his current price suggests. His last run here in a novice event was strong form and this looks a soft handicap mark.

NUNS WALK (6.50pm Hamilton) is the obvious pick for me in the ladies Pro-Am race for Rachel Richardson. The horse is really consistent and has decent course form.

There is a strong each way chance for  AN FEAR CIUIN (7.50pm Hamilton) later on the card. He is a course and distance winner and drops back down to a lower grade than last time and can bully this lot. I’ll be surprised if he isn’t in the top 3.

The last one is a slightly more speculative shout with AYTON (8.20pm Hamilton) who has caught my eye a few times in defeat this season. It’s early days for her and she can win a race off this bargain basement handicap mark at some point.
