MY new delve into the world of daily tipping started well yesterday with Regal Reality winning really nicely at 7-1.
My other selection East Street Revue only managed 8th in his race after pulling too hard.
Today I only have one selection but it’s a double figure price and I’m hoping it can nick the race for us from the front.
5.30pm Chester
To look at the recent form of ASDAA you might not be inclined to back it at all with finishes of 5th, 5th and 15th in his last 3 runs. The last run though – finishing 15th at Goodwood – can be put to one side because he had a slow start and was then trapped in behind in a good race on a course that is notoriously difficult to find a safe passage through. All three of those races were actually decent quality and excuses can be made for the two 5th place finishes too. He drops down now by 3lb in the handicap which returns him to his last winning mark and Joe Fanning returns to the saddle. He won on him last time out but the deciding factor for me is the excellent draw he has in stall 1 at Chester. Fanning is a very good judge of pace and he rides Chester nicely and will know that if he can get Asdaa onto the rail and into a rhythm he will be difficult to pass as they turn for home. I’m resisting the urge to make an ‘Asdaa price’ gag but I can see a big run today at a nice price.
