Saturday's Lucky 15 bet was absolutely hideous.

Quisisana was the only horse to do herself justice of the three that ran. This is being completed before the last leg has finished.

Rainbows Edge SP – Longchamp 2.50

I'm not a huge fan of Rainbows Edge, but you can't knock that she is very consistent.

She does struggle to win races at this level in the UK, but this French equivalent looks a much easier assignment.

I think the drop in trip by a furlong is an advantage for her, as she doesn't seem to finish her finish furlong off the strongest over 10f.

Oisin is in the saddle, which is always a huge bonus.

Dash Of Azure SP – Longchamp 3.25

Even though this is a big field, I don't think the quality of horses is that good.

Due to it being a weak race, it wouldn't surprise me if Dash Of Azure continues her progression and manages to win a Class 1 race.

Her run last time out when finishing second to Cajole was a clear career-best performance. That run produced an RPR of 104, and a repeat performance would see her tough to beat.

The ground doesn't look like it'll be anywhere near as soft as last time out, but she did manage to win on good ground the time before.

Coming back to the mile is my main concern, but these French races are normally run at a very sedate gallop, which means stamina doesn't always come to the fore.

Yeah Man 16/1 – Limerick 4.15

Keith Donoghue will be extremely jetlagged and tired come the start of the Munster National, but it doesn't put me off from backing Yeah Man.

Donoghue and Cromwell will be in New York for the American Grand National the night before, but will be jetting back on a plane for Sunday's racing at Limerick.

Given the urgency for Keith to travel back and make sure he is on board, Yeah Man gives me great hope that the horse is back to his best form.

On his day, Yeah Man is a very good staying chaser. He won the Haydock National Trial in 2024 and was third in the Troytown late last year. His form has dipped since, but he's back on a decent handicap mark now and over a trip which suits.

Electric Beauty 11/2 – Leopardstown 2.55

With a ton of rain expected to fall at Leopardstown, the ground is going to become very testing.

So with that said, having soft/heavy ground form is going to be a must, and that's why I've sided with Electric Beauty.

She isn't in the best of form, but she did win on soft ground at Galway at odds of 40/1 off a slightly lower mark. She gets Terry Casey in the saddle for today's race, which means she is getting 7lb knocked off her racing weight.

At a price, I thought she could definitely feature.
