Lucky 15 New Featured Image

Sunday's Lucky 15 tips are all from the meeting at Windsor, which looks like a decent card for punters to get involved in.

Due to some of the shorter-priced selections, I've advised this bet as a straight win Lucky 15 bet rather than the usual each way.

Cairnzy's Tips

Jinko Blue 4/6 – Windsor 12.10

Only three runners are entered into this contest which can make things messy as I find extremely small fields can become very tactical but with that aside, all three come here with a chance in what looks an open little race with each of the field arriving with untapped potential in this step up to 3m.

If you are a regular follower of the page you'll already know by disliking to the Henderson yard, and that's before even mentioning jockey Nico De Boinville who really annoyed me this jumps season. With that said, I can't get away from the odds on shot Jinko Blue who looks the one to be on despite his unattractive price of 4/6. I would never tip up a 4/6 shot on the main thread but given this is a multiple bet as such, I feel no embarrassment in adding it in this time around.

The only slight concern I have with this horse is his tendency to run quite keenly throughout his races and stepping up in trip to 3m will require him to maintain stamina throughout the race. With that said, he ran a tad keen last time out at Uttoxeter and still hammered his rivals by nine and a half lengths and that came on testing ground conditions as well. He is up against some decent opposition this time around, with the inform Lowry's Bar being the standout of the remainder. I mentioned yesterday on the main thread that the Hobbs & White yard are in good form so their runner in this contest has to be feared in his search for a hat trick.

Khrisma 2/1 – Windsor 12.45

After slandering Henderson and Nico for months, I've found myself backing two of their horses as my first two tips for today's Lucky 15, only time will tell if I've any ginger hair left on my head come Sunday night…

Khrisma is a risky selection but this does look a two-horse race on paper if solely going of form and I'm happy to take on the Nicholls favourite with the yard still out of sorts despite getting a winner on the board on Saturday.

My selection has to over come an absence having not been seen since November 2023 but I think the form of her bumpers in France is to be respected and when these top yards bring horses over from France they tend to work wonders with them more times than most.  The Nicholls favourite also has to give weight away to my selection and If Henderson has her fit and ready to go that could very well prove the difference between the two.

Crebilly 7/1 – Windsor 1.55

Rizz has tipped up Harpers Brook for this contest and I agree with his angle on that selection in regards to there being a lot of pace on offer with the likes of top-weight Matata and Editeur Du Gite being involved within this nine-runner field. There is no doubt this race will be run at a good clip which I'm hoping will set up the race up for one of the closers.

The horse I've opted for is the Jonjo Oneil trained charge of Crebilly who at 7/1 looked decent value in the market in my opinion. Crebilly is known for his exploits over further but I think this drop in trip combined with a good clip could play into his favour. He has to bounce back after a below-par performance at Chepstow in October of last year but he is entitled to come on for the run and if turning up in the mood can be a real danger in this race.

Djelo 2/1 – Windsor 3.05

Ahoy Senor is one of my favourites and If he is to win this race I'll be annoyed but I can't get away from Djelo who looks the big of the bunch and by some margin.

I may be wrong, but I think Rizz has tipped this horse up before and I think he was on the hype train before this horse ‘burst onto the scene'. He can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure he tipped it up a while back on the main thread.

I'll not blabber on too much, but Djelo, Protektorat and Ahoy Senor were the three horses I narrowed this down to. Ahoy Senor was pulled up last time out but has decent form claims on the CV which makes him a danger if showing up on song but he is entering the veteran stage at the age of 10 and has a bit to find with Djelo in my opinion. Secondly, I was surprised to see Djelo marked up at 2/1 and Protektorat at 9/4 given my selection slaughtered the Skelton runner by over 6L last time out and I couldn't find any way in which that one could reverse the form.

Trainer Ventia Williams seemingly holds Djelo in some regards and 2/1 seems a nice price to get involved in with this seven year old still open to more improvement.

Advised bet – Straight win Lucky 15

£1 win Lucky 15 ( £15 stake total ) would return £421 given all four selections win.
