Lucky 15 New Featured Image

The same comments are applied to the main thread. I am unable to comment on how yesterday's bet went, but hopefully we landed some winners.

Today's Lucky 15 is advised as an each-way bet.

One Look 4/1 – Curragh 2.30

This Group 3 is a great race, and it's nice to see at least one UK raider.

One Look came to our screens when winning impressively on debut at the Curragh in the Goffs Million. She hasn't gone on to be the horse that many believed she would be, but she's still a very useful horse. I think racing at the Curragh is what she needs. All of her best runs have been at this track, so if you can look past her lesser runs elsewhere, she comes into this with a fighting chance.

The step up in trip is an unknown, but she was staying on behind Porta Fortuna in the Group 2 over a month ago. Her pedigree gives a bit of optimism, but the decision by the trainer is enough for me. Paddy doesn't mess around with stuff like this; he is very calculated.

Room Service 4/1 – Curragh 3.40

Once again, it's nice to see some of the UK trainers taking their chance at the Curragh on Sunday. I firmly believe that the sprinting division, and as far as 7f, the Irish horses are there to be beaten.

Room Service is a horse who has to be seriously respected in this race. Kevin Ryan's horse is a horse who has weaker form on paper, running in Group 3 and Listed races, but he is progressing nicely and there is definitely more to come.

Last time out, he was not positioned well in a race which unfolded from the front at York. However, he stayed on strongly and in a stronger run race, or if the winner was contested on the front, it will likely have been a different outcome. The stiffer nature of the Curragh will play to his strengths, and I think he has a very solid chance.

Ridari 13/2 – Chantilly 4.35

It's a shame that this Group 3 is as strong as it is, as I do like Ice Max and I think he can land a weaker Group 3 or Listed race at some point this season. Quddwah will likely be the short-priced favourite, but I think you can take him on with Ridari.

Mickael Barzalona is on board, so expect a ride from the rear, which is not what I like to see. That is probably the only negative, and that running style was a big reason why he finished fifth in the French 2000 Guineas. They tried to be more prominent in the Prix Du Jockey Club, but he didn't get the clearest of runs through. Both times, he ran with plenty of credit and was only a length or so behind the winners. I think the form of both races is solid, so it's enough for me to go for the younger horse against the elders.

Sir Tivo 5/1  – Stratford 3.13

I know that Sir Tivo likes to run from the front, but I am praying Gavin Sheehan lets Duke Of Luckley go off like the clappers.

This race has been a target for Sir Tivo for the last couple of years. He managed to win it in 2023, but was poor in this renewal the year after. This year, he comes into the race in good form, with a win and two runs inside the top three. He has to reverse form with Finest View, who is on a roll at present, but his handicap mark is tempting.

The way I see it playing out is that Gavin will sit a couple of lengths behind the leader, get into a lovely rhythm and pounce down the back straight when the leader becomes tired.
