Saturday's Lucky 15 bet was a decent effort with two wins, coming from the shorter-priced pair of the four selections.

Pierre Bonnard was backed strongly and proved to be the correct O'Brien horse to be on, which has been the theme with Soumillon being on board.

Hankelow confirmed the promise he had shown on his previous two runs and put the close finish from last time out to bed in spectacular fashion.

Safe Destination 5/1 – Chepstow 1.32

It was a decent return to action for Safe Destination last time out up at Perth. That was his first run in 159 days, which saw him finish third, but looking tired towards the end of the race. With that run under his belt, he should be primed for a good effort at this race.

His form is decent, with the runner-up to Ask Brewster now looking like a solid piece of form.

Toby McCain-Mitchell is a good conditional jockey and knocks off a handy 6lbs for the in-form Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies yard, who have been pumping out the winners recently.

Jet Plane 4/1 – Chepstow 3.52

I think you can rule out a fair amount of the runners in this field. Harry Skelton has chosen Jet Plane, so in theory, you'd like to rule out the rest of the other Skelton runners. Mount Tempest is best on soft ground. Il Ridoto will be aimed at Cheltenham, with this being his fitness run, and Saint Segal looks to be on a tough mark.

So with that, I am putting my faith in Harry Skelton on Jet Plane. This horse is getting on in age and isn't on the best of handicap marks, but he had a run for fitness at Warwick last month, and has won six chase races in his career, so he knows how to win.

Moveit Like Minnie 9/2 – Chepstow 4.27

Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies' mare, Moveit Like Minnie, is a very likeable horse. She has the ability at this level and is on a winning mark of 118. She gets on well on fast ground, which she'll get today, and the rest of the field might not want it this quick.

Lake Tiberias 4/1 – Chepstow 5.02

This will likely turn out to be a very good race to follow for the next few months, as many of them have good pedigrees and hail from strong yards, as well as Toby Bulgins' horse, which is worth monitoring in the market.

Lake Tiberias stood out the most for me as he is a half-brother to Ahorsewithnoname, who did well for Nicky Henderson on the flat and the jumps, showing that there is plenty of speed in the pedigree.

Harry Derham does well with his bumper horses, 9/38 since he took out his licence, which is a 24% strike rate.
