With British sport at a standstill at present as the nation mourns the passing of the Queen, I’ve been given no other option but to go hunting at Leopardstown.
Don’t get me wrong the card at Leopardstown today is top notch but I’m not a massive fan of Irish racing and with tomorrow's card being as competitive as ever it makes finding a winner that much harder.
Luxembourg 15:45 – 7/2
I think it’s fair to say Luxembourg campaign can be described as a frustrating one as he’s only been seen on a few occasions.
His derby aim was hampered by an injury after finishing 3rd in the 2000 guineas and as much as his return to racing resulted in success the win came in a very narrow like fashion, when the expectation from anyone watching was that “this horse is absolutely going to bolt up”
From listening back to O’Brians interview after Luxembourgs return to action he seemed very happy with the performance and he expects this exciting son of Camelot to come forward again today. Ryan Moore taking the ride as expected.
It will be no easy task for the O’Brian runner who faces tough opposition from the likes of Mishriff, Alenquer, Broome and in particular the French raider Vadeni who currently sits a short priced even money favourite as is expected to relish the ground conditions tomorrow.
Racing thread is dead unfortunately, but hopefully some of you followed and got on that nice 7/2 winner! 🫡
Well done Cairnzy 👏🍻
Thanks mate, enjoy the rest of your weekend ☺️
Well done 🏇.
I was on Mishriff, I think his best days are behind him now and he is firmly in the OK only bracket.

I saw Luxembourg quoted at 8-1 in an open looking arc.
If baeed is still entered near the day of the arc it means better prices on the rest.
Alpinista has good form abroad and you can’t discount last year’s winner torquator tasso.
Hurricane lane and Adayar would be each way plays for me Both about 16-1.
Adayar 4th 3 lengths behind hurricane lane 3rd last year, Adayar has only had 1 run and hurricane lane 2 this season so will be fresh.
Adayar ran 4 times before the arc last year so last week’s spin at Donny will have him spot on.
Adayar for me with hurricane lane and alpinista close by.
I don’t think baeed will run personally but we shall see.
What do you think cairnzy ??
No missed it mate?
I was knee deep in USA racing yesterday but well done at nice price 👍
A.O’Brians a crook over there AT times I think but gets away with it cause he’s alright not to bad at what he does? ;)
I’ll be on a few his today! Lol
