THE totescoop6 pools are forecast to hit £1.8million on Grand National day after the bet went down at Kempton last weekend.
The win pot is expected to hit £650,000 with the bonus fund climbing to around £1.15m in total.
The Grand National card inevitably forms the backbone of the Scoop6, with four races from Aintree and the remaining two coming from Chepstow.
Totepool spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “Grand National day is the biggest day of the year for punters and a single winner of the Scoop6 could land nearly £2m.”
Any Betfred shop, betfred.com or Betfred mobile customer lucky enough to find all six winners will also pick up a £100,000 bonus offered by Betfred boss Fred Done. The bonus will be shared if there are multiple winners.
The final leg of the bet will be the Crabbie’s Grand National itself, a race in which totepool punters enjoyed the rub of the green last year when 37 of the 40 runners returned a totewin dividend exceeding SP.
Last year’s winner, Auroras Encore, came home at 66-1 with bookmakers but those shrewd enough to back him on the tote were paid at a staggering 132-1.
Griffiths added: “The Grand National itself always offers punters fantastic value on the tote with 37 of the 40 runners beating SP last year.”
The totejackpot is at Aintree on Saturday and the totetrifecta rollover race will be the Betfred TV Handicap Chase (3.25 Aintree)

Meanwhile, Betfred, official betting partner of the Crabbie’s Grand National, will be offering 12-1 the field on the world’s greatest steeplechase.
The Warrington-based firm are unable to separate Long Run, Monbeg Dude and Teaforthree at the front of the market and expect money to pour in for the trio when the prices go live at 9am tomorrow.
Teaforthree is out to his biggest price for over a month after dominating the ante-post landscape in the build up to the race.
Long Run and Monbeg Dude have been moving in the opposite direction in recent days and look most likely to battle for outright favouritism tomorrow.
Betfred spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “It’s an incredibly open Grand National and we’re pushing the boat out offering 12-1 the field.
“Teaforthree is out to the biggest price he’s been for over a month but it’s Long Run and Monbeg Dude who we think will duel it out for favouritism.”
