Your Own Story finally got a win as Lucinda Russell decided to put him up to a Marathon trip, which has been needed for quite a while, so it was nice to see it pay off.
I think he will be of interest in National races at some point, and any race over 4m would be perfect for him as he wasn't stopping at the line and if he doesn't get hit with too much of an increase by the handicapper, he'll be winning again in a similar race to yesterday.
Sandown 3:35 – Hystery Bere 3/1 (2pt)
It seems strange seeing a Sandown jumps card on a Tuesday, but it's their annual meeting where the Memorial and Military amateurs get a ride. Those contests aren't a betting race for me, as you're dealing with some very below-average riders, but if you think you can find value, crack on.
I think this Class 3 contest is a cracking little race, but it's a shame the early odds available for HYSTERY BERE have disappeared by the early punters, as he was double the price he currently is, but I think he will drift out so I'll be having a play.
This horse has been crying out for a run over 2m 4f. He has raced over it once before, but he didn't give his true showing that day and I think that was due to a hard race, he had the time before, and he didn't really have much time to recover, so can be easily forgiven. But if you look at how he's run at Cheltenham over 2m on two occasions, you've got to think that this trip is what he has been crying out for. He is a horse who races towards the rear, but I think that's because he can't go the gallop over 2m, but when he meets the rising ground he finishes off his races very strong but runs out of track before he gets the chance to reel in those ahead of him.
Sandown is due a bit of rain, but I don't think that will hinder his chances as he ran well on soft last time in a race which on paper was stronger than today. In this race today you probably have a few who are ahead of their handicap mark, but I believe this horse is also ahead of the handicapper now he is over a suitable trip.
Good luck charm 2-40 Newcastle 11-8 SKYBET betting without stablemate Lilith.
Whymper 2-17 compeigne 7-2 🇫🇷
Champion hurdle
Pied Piper 66-1 ew small stake.
Will look for ew extra closer to next Tuesday and have bigger stake on that
Finished within 1.5 lengths of Vauban and honeysuckle last time, they are about 12-1 and difference in price is too big.
Also finished about 2 lengths behind Vauban in last year’s triumph.
Probably get about 25-1 33-1 top 6 ew extra as long as his SP stays at 66-1.
Can’t see there being any more than 6 maybe 7 runners max on the day so I’d be taking that price now so you get the 3 places.
75s with WH boost Elvis like DC says probably around 7/8 runners might plug on for 3rd as long as hes rode for that 👍
Grand national
Velvet Elvis 50-1 ew 5 places.
Came 6th in the Irish national in 2022 beat just 7 lengths despite pecking and being hampered close home.
Pulled up twice this season before bouncing back to form last month with a win over a short 2 mile 7.
Gets in on 10 stone 6 and this been his main target this season.
Will look for ew extra closer set to the day, maybe 25-1 for 10 places if SP stays around the 66-1 quoted at some firms.
Grand Annual Andy Dufresne
2nd in the race last year and I just think the heavy ground was the reason he didn’t win.
JP always targets this race. He’s won it 4 times 2nd 6 times and numerous places down the years.
AD will be running off the same mark as last year and id say connections are happy with that.
AD was fav last year and 3 of the last 9 previous years favs have won the following year.

Coquelicot to beat do they know 7-4 🏇.
Had a good season over the jumps and marks gone up a fair bit so in form trainer honeyball is giving her a runout on the dirt tonight, also will be match fit unlike a few of these.
Ran ok on the flat at Nottingham in October and won 3 bumpers a couple of years ago.
Star angel should win this race despite not having ran since may.
DC and DEBS
Taken 66-1 paying 3.
If only 6 or 7 run will they cut these odds ??
Pied Piper that is ⬆️
I’m going for my annual champions day outing next Tuesday, can’t wait, just hope the snow doesn’t hang around too long ☃️
I took 75s EW with WH Elvis after you mentioned it. 2 ways to look at it the horse probably shouldn’t be that big because a good few of them below it wont run my guess if it stays 8+ runners it will be shorter but if 7 or less it will stay big because of only 2 places but betting early you should still get the 3 places.
We’ll done yesterday azz & all other winners
Visibility 7.00s 16-1 5 places sky ☘️☘️gl all
Hi all,
Looking to see if anyone can point me in the right direction. Not sure if people use rewards4racing but I have been collecting points through there for a couple of years and hadn’t used them. I was thinking of purchasing tickets for Cheltenham or Aintree and selling them at a discounted rate or via a website. Otherwise the points are doing nothing really.
Has anyone ever sold race tickets on a website or know of anyone that might be interested?
I’m sure if you buy they post them so ideally I’d meet the person so there are no need for trusting/relying on strangers.
