Frodon was the only money returned from Saturday as he ran a good race in third. The others were all EW plays and ran like they should've been much bigger odds.

Hereford 3:20 – The Late Legend 11/2 (1pt)

With questions to be asked about all the four runners in this race, I think a chance can be taken on THE LATE LEGEND who is the largest price in the field.

He's dropped to a handicap mark of 105, which is his last winning mark, coming at Warwick last year. That was his second win when ridden by Luke Scott, as he had previously won on him off a mark of 102 the year before. Luke is back on board today, which is a clear positive in my eyes, and Luke has given me a good impression as a young jockey this season, though he hasn't won in the last 14 days, he looks seriously improved and is operating at a 11% SR, plus he takes off a handy 3lbs.

The return of the cheekpieces is of major interest, having worn these when he last won and they hadn't been on in the previous runs. He likes to be ridden prominently, so they might fancy their chances of making the running in this small field, which would prove advantageous as he can dictate the pace.

Naas 2:40 – Percy Warner 3/1 (1pt)

On Sunday, the Irish normally put up a good card or two with some decent prize money on offer in handicaps and today they have 26k up for grabs in this Grade B chase. I've previously tipped up Limerick Lace, the market favourite, around a month ago but I've decided to go for the second fav today with PERCY WARNER.

Those he is a maiden over fences from three attempts, he has faired well considering he has bumped into some rivals who were well ahead of him and running off level weights. On handicap debut last time around I thought he faired very well, finishing second to a horse who was then regarded enough to try a Grade 2 race. Percy Warner was trying today's trip for the first time (over rules) and was ridden like it was his first time, held up from off the pace, and was given mission impossible to reel the leaders in. Due to the amount of ground that was needed, he made a hash of the last fence, but if he jumped it clear it might've made the final stages of the race quite interesting.

Now they know he clearly stays the trip, which wouldn't take a genius to work out considering he is a PTP winner, should allow him to sit closer to the pace and give him a better chance of winning. He was a good hurdler, winning 2/2 for Gordon Elliott, so there's definite potential from this mark of 130.

    Both at HILLS .

Will it be good or bad Goshen today, never a dull day with this horse, back over hurdles should suit as he clearly isn’t a chaser.

Tout est permis 4-00 fontwell 11-4.

This was favourite last night and now drifted to 11-4.
Archie Watson hunter chasers are a rare breed and he shelled out 50 grand firon noel Meade for this in the belief he had something to offer.
Has run shit in 2 runs so far but today is on good ground, the same ground as his last good run in the cross country at last year’s punchestown festival when coming 4th at a well backed 7-2.
Is only 10 which isn’t old for a hunter.
Pulled up before fence 1 last time which is obviously a worry
