Chelmsford City 12.45
Narjes goes down in a few notebooks as having a few disappointing runs but although still to win I actually think she has run better than people think. Last time out at Lingfield wasn’t her best performance but it was decent and would have been good enough to win a race like this and has had a few runs that would win this one.
Southwell 2.05
Silver Kayf has been improving over hurdles and his win last time looked good enough to think he could follow up here. Even his fourth place two runs ago would pretty much set the standard and we can fully expect him to improve again. On the whole he has jumped well, the ground won’t be a problem and I am expecting a win.
Chelmsford City 2.25
Tellovoi looks the days best bet and he is a big price, he is on a 20-run losing streak which I can relate with, but is showing signs his time could be now. Money for him would be telling coming from this yard who also have the favourite but I like Tellovoi to finally win again. His recent runs are better and he probably could have won last time but for making his run far too wide round the home turn, losing a lot of lengths and from always being too far off the pace. Closer to the pace today and I would be confident.
Navan 2.30
Without Limites is a worthy favourite after winning on his chase debut. He beat the reopposing Goose Man here by five lengths but won with more in hand and was pulling away at the finish. His jumping was pretty impressive and led all the way in a confident ride and should improve to win again.

2017 is definitely going to be a year hard to forget
Lost a horse in the California fires will never be forgotten,
Record number of horses finishing second is nothing like losing a horse but it is frustrating,
But getting the dream job is a little consolation
The first selection today was Narjes and I hope some saw this horse go to post because if you did then hopefully you laid her,
Her run in the race though surprised me as I thought she had ruined all hope before and during the race, she was so keen going to the start that it has probably cost her a good five or six lengths in energy, she has always been about four lengths off the first two during the race and she has lost a good couple of lengths being brought wide round the home turn and was beat about half a length, Narjes was by far the better horse watching that race but as we see in all sports, the best don’t always win
It can get very frustrating
On a positive note though I feel I have to give a shout out to the people that donated their Guitar Pete winnings to various charities, not many people like that but there are some, then on a less positive note we have people on Twitter demanding a refund for Starchitect
