BREWIN’UPASTORM (3.10) can edge out favourite Mcfabulous in an intriguing renewal of the Grade 2 National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell.
My selection, formerly a Grade 1 novice, had been keeping good company over fences before switching to hurdles at Taunton last month, a move which saw him saunter clear of Jolly’s Cracked It.
This is harder and Mcfabulous should have the speed to cope with this drop to 2m 3f after his third to Thyme Hill and Paisley Park over three miles at Newbury in November.
He has since taken the measure of On The Blind Side at Kempton but concedes 6lb to Brewin’upastorm.
