SOCIAL CITY (2.05) is fancied to complete a quick hat-trick in the 2m 2f handicap at Southwell.
The gelding has scored on the all-weather at Lingfield and Wolverhampton, with his stamina kicking in at the business end. Social City had a couple of Fibresand outings earlier in his career and can take the measure of recent course winner Shine Baby Shine and in-form filly Trinity Girl, untried on this surface.
STONE SOLDIER (12.55) blew his field apart wearing first-time cheek-pieces here ten days ago and can defy a 6lb penalty. He has the look of an improving three-year-old for Archie Watson.

1-35 navan is a good race.
Jack Kennedy rode the stable (Elliott) favourite last time and lost to stablemate fakiera.
Today he rides fakiera and o donoughue who rode fakiera to win is on Elliott’s other runner.
Usually when a jockey wins on a 2nd string he keeps the ride, so has Kennedy realised his mistake and thinks fakiera is a good thing despite a 3lb penalty ?.
Bromhead has the favourite but his form is nothing special so far and is inexperienced, same with Mullins fighter allen.
Fakiera 6-1 surely has to be a each way shout ??

very good write up on the 1.35 navan race, should be a cracker of a race to watch. done a write up on yesterday thread about my selection. bromhead -trained 4 year old , joined his team after a commanding 7-length point-to-point win in Feb, was hugely impressive when getting the better of 250k euros French recruit from the W. Mullins yard. won his maiden hurdle race really nicely at punchestown, so this seemed the right step forward, quote by trainer. The Albert Barlett Jolly, has an exciting future. carrying the Barry Maloney colours. fakiera and fighter allen are appealing alternatives if selection fails to come up trumps

fisher green, fell this week, runs again on the 22nd, the best single i’ve seen here, it was even sweeter i was actually on it in the shop. i almost trumped it with nando parrado at royal ascot, was looking over cox’s two on the saturday because golden horde went in on the friday, on debut nando had beaten jimmy sparks in a hot maiden, which i spotted had won the day before at 5/4, the 150/1 put me off, i was so sick i didn’t share it, actually made me rage quit for a few days – baggin’ others a winner is more important to me than any personal gains.
in terms of this site, you can’t warn people off posting, you just have to be aware it’s an unrestricted message board, so when parting with cash, be sure or bet what you are happy to write off. with such a vast array of racing, resisting temptation and utilising patience can increase our chances, we know the game, everything is far from certain – not that i look anywhere else but this site is the best free daily shortlist going.
i’ve said before, 6 even money bets can spin 10 into 640. with the place market, this is completely possible, and the slower you take it the more likely you are to find those ‘certs’. i actually had 3-3 today, took 40 out (300% ROI) and now have 4 free goes to spin it up, for example there was a 6 runner race today, 5/1 bottom weight was evens for 3 places, then bluella in the next was evens for four places.. Kingswears was also evens for fallon/appleby, had solid form and was a rock solid fav according to the market, some cards you can just tell the fav will win, evens against 5/1 field in 6 runner affair, apologies to Deb2000 that i didn’t mention it ;)

Easterby/Fentiman won their only race here last week, they share just one again today, for the same Syndicate.
Here, off 65 over 7f (C5), we were a nose 2nd. NTO over CD it won (C6). Then it was raised 9lbs and was a 3l 2nd (C4). It went off 11/8f and now is a double figure price. The winner won again NTO up 7lbs in a C2 race and was a decent 2nd last night off 89 in a C3. Two poor runs since leaves question marks but the price is adequate.
Our man Harry fry got one runner at Ascot.

Top weight will be a tough ask but stable in form and last win was on heavy.

last four runs, CRYSTAL DAWN CD wins off 62, 63, duck egg then lto neck 2nd off 70 to Eglish. Ewing is back on board putting her on 63. Eglish was 10lbs lighter and tonight they go off level weights, not looked at any others so potentially something lurking but on paper, CD smashes Eglish. short at 7/2 as i said not assessed rivals so cant back.
