Racing Tips: Pink Satin can improve further at Goodwood

My good friend Rizz is feeling a tad under the weather, so I've been asked to step in for tomorrow's racing in his absence.

I can't remember the last time I was on the thread covering the racing and on top of that I can't remember the last time my beloved Everton picked up 3 points!

Rizz has done well with his tipping on the flat this season. For someone who clearly prefers the jumps more than the 6f sprints it's hard to complain with his returns on his selections.

Pink Satin 5/2 – 2:45 Goodwood

I think P&O Coles filly is worth a bet in this competitive 6 runner affair. She finished 2nd by just under 5L to Zoulu Chief when last seen at Windsor.

That particular piece of form in my opinion is the strongest on offer given Zoulu Chief followed up by winning a valuable group 2 at the most reason York meeting beating the highly fancied Ralph Beckett runner Starlust who had the inform Ryan Moore on board on the day. I think Rizz tipped up Zoulu Chief on the day, I may be wrong but I think he did.

Pink Satin is still a lightly raced filly who's open to improvement. Mohammed Tabti rides for connections tomorrow and his apprentice allowance will aid her cause to get her head in front.

Grand Providence 11/2 EW – 3:20 Goodwood

The progressive Novel Legend is probably a worthy favourite but given he is 10lb higher since last successful I've opted to take a chance on the Andrew Balding-trained Grand Providence who is in receipt of a decent bit of weight from fellow rivals.

My selection is consistent, hitting the frame in all of her last 6 runs and who is almost certain to give you a run for your money at attractive odds. Tomorrow's contest is over the 2m which is the trip my selection was last successful over when beating Temporize who also contests in this race. Temporize switched stables to Syd Hosie who isn't a trainer I know a lot about to be honest but all that aside Temporize enters calculations tomorrow with some decent form on offer when most recently beating Robert Johnson at Goodwood ( A horse who I actually fancied on the day )
